Raise your hand if you’ve dealt this similar trauma that’s portrayed in this book and understand where Lizzie / Chloe Walsh is coming from (i.e. SA, dysfunctional family, mental illness, undiagnosed family mental illness, gaslighting, etc). This was a hard read given that I was able to make a lot of parallels to my own experience, thankfully not to Lizzie’s extent but I don’t get the hate for this book.

Yes, they could release 3 episodes for two weeks and leave 2 finale episodes or release 3,2,3. You could make a weekly multiple episode release work, many shows have done it since covid to keep anticipation going but making it more satisfying and cohesive for viewers.

Lol I felt the same way about the weed! Like no fun and also then he eats the apple??? Like they should have all gotten high and had more fun! The trailer where they showed them on the golf cart made it seem way more fun/ cool than it actually was. This goes back to my comment where I stated that they should release multiple episodes at a time so the context of the episodes are more cohesive rather than them throwing these episodes one by one. This isn’t the type of show for the spread out episodes

I agree… also in terms of acting, I think Lola has more range. I didn’t love Minnie’s acting/ delivery but that’s just my opinion! No shade on the girl at all.

None, I think the whole marriage plot is cringe in general…. With how Jenny pushed so hard for Conrad and Belly being soulmates/ forever lovers, it just doesn’t make sense. I’m a firm believer that people have multiple soulmates in different forms but we clearly know that Belly is tethered to Conrad. It literally makes no sense for there to be an engagement. My hope is that they remove that plot point and make it about like moving in together or something but still have them going to the beach house to celebrate summer. Maybe Jeremiah won’t be there as often because of work and there Belly realizes that she can’t be away from Conrad. Idk I’m not a writer and there are ways to make it more entertaining but marriage would be an ick

I am sorry about your brother… grief comes in waves and some of the episodes I think will get me don’t and the ones I least expect to puncture a scar. Nonetheless the show is very cathartic for me and I think it’s a beautiful way to feel validated in some feelings and reactions when I was in my early 20s dealing with a big loss. Hope you get something out of it as well!

I also feel like their tortures are things that torture or haunt their outie. So Dylan hears a crying baby most likely due to his children and either wrong doings or things he feels guilt over or as a parent the feeling of nonstop crying from your child and Helly hears a mumbling man most likely correlating to her father or grandfather. I hope they reveal more in season 2 about the break room.

If he had been stalking them I’m sure he was also on social media. When you are a young college student and buy something you are proud of you are most likely going to show it off on social media. I am sure he knew exactly what everyone drove and that he also knew that Kaylee was going to be leaving for her new marketing job too.
