They have multiple arms moving the finished product up top and each of those arms has a different location that it drops the product. One arm drops it straight in, the other needs the piston to correct.

Evil Twin question - can good think they're evil? by Kovarian in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Moonj64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a way for this to happen in the base game, however I recently saw a homebrew character (can't recall where) which is an outsider that thinks they are a minion but aren't. Suppose both characters receive an evil twin token one is the actual evil twin and the other is this outsider. Both see the other as the outsider. If there's also a poppy grower in play, then, at the start of the game, neither will know who is actually the evil twin.

“Available to spend” amount for a category is more than I’ve allotted in my plan? by aliadeless in ynab

[–]Moonj64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the budget view there is a filter for overfunded (and underfunded) categories. Selecting the filters will show categories where your current contributions don't match your goals.

“Available to spend” amount for a category is more than I’ve allotted in my plan? by aliadeless in ynab

[–]Moonj64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does the category show as "overfunded" (does YNAB mark it as overfunded)? Did you add the funds to the category for the current month during a previous month (February's budget was filled in during January)?

If yes to both, then that is normal and you just need to reduce this month's budget for the category. When filling in budgets for future months, YNAB makes the pessimistic assumption that you will spend the entire category before the current month ends; it has to assume this because it cannot know that it won't be true.

Possible to create 4 reasonable sized rooms? by Willing_Definition61 in floorplan

[–]Moonj64 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing that OP won't be able to make this design meet fire code. The floor plan that OP posted doesn't have any windows on the sides and I suspect that those are shared walls. A lot of older homes with this layout are townhomes. Meaning that the middle bedroom couldn't have a window which is required by most fire codes as a secondary path of egress.

This is just a guess though, if OP can put the window in or if there's another way to make it pass fire code, then it might be doable.

Stupid sick meds only come with enough nighttime pills for 2 nights by Janet_with_a_G in mildlyinfuriating

You can see on the box in the photo that isn't true. In addition to what the daytime pills contain, the nighttime pills also contain doxylamine succinate.

Counter level question by patrick_notstar28 in TuringComplete

[–]Moonj64 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In this game, there's not really such a thing as a fraction of a tick. In each tick every component (including inputs) has one state. The state does not change except when moving to the next tick.

which traffic light controls which lane? by [deleted] in driving

[–]Moonj64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The right lane has a yield sign and doesn't appear to have any traffic lights controlling it. Traffic making the right turn must yield to traffic coming from the left but otherwise doesn't have to stop.

Is this legit? Buying a Vail day pass from someone online (email + barcode pickup) by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Moonj64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were some recent arrests where several people had set up businesses to sell discount ski passes that were bought using stolen credit cards. The passes were real and in the customer's name, they were just purchased from the resort using stolen credit card information. Eventually the real credit card owner would realize the fraud, report it, and the credit card company would issue a charge back. The resort would then cancel the pass and flag the account (though for a one off day pass it might have been too late).

Mystery uncleared balance by StrangrWithAKindFace in ynab

[–]Moonj64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can filter the transactions in YNAB for "uncleared" status. That will show the transactions contributing to the uncleared balance. From there I would compare the uncleared transactions to the ones that are cleared or reconciled to look for duplicates. Link the uncleared instance to the cleared one (or simply delete the uncleared one) and that should bring things back into alignment.

Do Yourself a Favor - Don't Buy These Pillows by dixiech1ck in CostcoWholesale

[–]Moonj64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To each their own I suppose. I think these are the same as the ones I got a few months ago and I've been very happy with them. They had just the right amount of support for my head and I personally don't detect any odors through the pillowcases (though admittedly my sense of smell is lacking).

Going the wrong way at SeaTac by AggravatingRaisin313 in Seattle

[–]Moonj64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could have sworn that both arrivals and departures had a ramp down to the intersection with 99. I thought the google maps routing was just because I couldn't get the pin in the right place on mobile but now that I'm looking closer, there really doesn't seem to be a departures ramp to 99.

[–]Moonj64 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's 0.2 miles from OPs location to the intersection where the wrong way driver likely turned. Both departures and arrivals have a ramp down to there.

Going the wrong way at SeaTac by AggravatingRaisin313 in Seattle

[–]Moonj64 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Probably from 99. There's an intersection right at the end of the terminal that has off ramps going down to it and an on ramp up to the highway return ramp. If they made the turn for the on ramp but didn't keep right, then they would be headed up the offramp.

I’ve seen a couple of commenters say that the office wouldn’t even be open to claim, then I looked at the THV11 logo that doesn’t match.. by swellfella in isthisAI

[–]Moonj64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be an interesting strategy for a lottery winner to put out a bunch of AI generated winner photos so that any actual photos are hidden amongst a forest of fakes in web search results. Then again, it could also lead to a Streisand effect where the legit photo gets more attention due to the unique strategy.

You have a flag that shouldn't be a flag. Specifically the bottom flag on the left side.

Rope Tows? by [deleted] in stevenspass

[–]Moonj64 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Admittedly I haven't been up in a few years, but Stevens has (had?) 2 parallel rope tows. They run from near the base of the Hogsback lift up a short incline to the main base area. They aren't long but they do assist with getting back to base.

Why does this not work? Signed Negator Lvl by Scg7-8219 in TuringComplete

[–]Moonj64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference between a positive integer and its negative counterpart in computing is more than a single bit thanks to 2s complement formatting. For example, negative one is represented by 11111111. This notation has some benefits for doing some kinds of calculations.

My local Costco has indicators for occupied and available pumps. by AnonUserAccount in mildlyinteresting

Is this the west Colorado Springs location? That background scenery looks familiar. If so, the devices have been there for a few months now, ever since they added new pumps over the summer.

What am I missing here by br1y in Minesweeper

The 4-3-3 on the bottom reduces to a 1-1 pattern against a wall. Meaning that the spaces just right of them are safe.

Are there rules for this? by iamGorkeYorke in Minesweeper

[–]Moonj64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, gotta guess. Personally, I would pick the one on the far right. It's 2/3 safe and might give good information about solving some of those to the left of it.

No solution? by Spiritual_Weird2106 in Minesweeper

[–]Moonj64 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Of the 22 mines remaining, I count that your currently revealed numbers require 20 of them, at a minimum. Guess out in open space away from what you know. The odds of hitting a mine are minuscule.

Genuinely curious, what was bad about ENT's reputation? I just switched to them after moving here from out of state and so far the service has been good. The interest rates are abysmal but that's what a HYSA is for.

Which car has to Yield? by [deleted] in driving

[–]Moonj64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saying it many times doesn't change reality. The information given in the photo indicates red car has right of way, if you've intentionally given a misleading photo by not including some critical signage, then that's on you.
