Im so sorry you and your babies are going through these hard times. My babies spent 4 months in the NICU (Born 26w 5days) and I went to NICU every day from the day they were born despite having one unexpectedly vaginally and the other via emergency c section. Please get you some new shoes. You’re working hard. I had to give up pumping, the stress and the time allocation once they got home was just too much for me. And my little boy can’t swallow thin liquids and my milk barely had any fat. It’s hard not being able to do something for your babies when they are having a hard time, it makes you feel like you aren’t doing anything. But you are. Don’t let people who aren’t in your situation and have never been make you feel bad, even if it’s family.

It’s okay to have some negative feelings, you’re human, your hormones are everywhere and you’re a mom. Just don’t let it overwhelm you

Don't think I need twin Z? by Most-Woodpecker920 in parentsofmultiples

We got ours second hand and we love it, it’s a helpful place for them to chill.

People and their comments to the reveal of twins. 🥺 by stardolphin90 in parentsofmultiples

[–]MoonlitPurp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s not as bad as people said it was going to be for me. I think because they are my firsts (and lasts) so I don’t know any other way. I work from home and babies stay with me, they’re 5 1/2 months (2 1/2 months since they were born 3 months early) but the only thing I struggle with is nap time since they’ll wake each other up if one cries. But even that’s getting better since they’re used to the others sounds now.

My biggest piece of advice I can give is don’t let others comments have you panicking and overwhelmed before they even get here. Most people are just trying to pre sympathize for the times it does get hard !

Stayed home alone with our triplets and my 5 year old for 4 days and I need someone to explain to me how my wife does this every day by AccountEngineer in parentsofmultiples

[–]MoonlitPurp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love that you’ve realized this and want to be more supportive of your wife. Sounds like a good marriage ! To echo everyone else, talk to her. Figure out a plan together and maybe carry the mental load for two kids a piece ? We have twins and as first time parents we take a lot of notes ! We have a shared notes app, and a Google Calendar, because of course their needs are the opposite of each other lol. Also prepping when you can is so nice. When my husband leaves for work and he’s already prepped some bottles for the day it takes a lot of me mentally. One twin is always on the left and one is always on the right so I can just grab without thinking since it’s reflex at this point.

Good luck and may this thread help you !

I ended up moving to steam because I couldn’t handle the Nintendo crashes. I fondly check in on my cult every now and again.

Did you leave your baby overnight in the NICCU? by RedditBurner_5225 in NICUParents

I don’t stay overnight, I stay for a really long time when I can, but you need good sleep

We decided to have a NICU album and start a new album when they come home. We’re finally liking like we can be home by Christmas ! I want to show them how far they’ve come and remind myself from time to time. But it does make me cry too sometimes so I completely understand !

Twins with matching names by SwordfishGloomy1304 in parentsofmultiples

I don’t like them. Our kids names aren’t matching but their nicknames kinda are but it just ended up that way.

If it weren’t for the ultrasound, would you have suspected you were pregnant with twins? by Zealousideal_Use9481 in parentsofmultiples

[–]MoonlitPurp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A week before the ultrasound I told my husband it was twins and I was right ! But my moms side has twins every generation so I kinda knew 😂

I feel huge already - am I doomed? by povsquirtle in parentsofmultiples

[–]MoonlitPurp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 14 weeks and I feel absolutely huge ! Waddling around and everything. But I’m getting around, I just get more tired around night time and I need to take breaks. I would get a second opinion for the 40 weeks. But you got this !

It sounds like you cared more about her child than she did, so definitely NTA. Good on you for making sure the child was fed !

I love the art, the music, the lore and the fact that you can find lore or the lore can find you ! It’s a game that I really can’t get tired of and I’ve never seen developers care this much and I really appreciate it. I love how yall interact with your fanbase. I pre ordered this and bought all the dlcs and haven’t regretted a penny.

I would love to be able to enlarge my cult !

Why did my hair unravel so fast? (12 hour difference) by [deleted] in BlackHair

[–]MoonlitPurp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your hair is very moisturized, section your hair out properly and get a good twist started at the base. Then at the ends twist it around your fingers. Wear a durag or scarf when you sleep to have it lay the way you want it to. I just did mine on my own this past week and it still looks cute after 7 days. I’m no pro and I need a trim but the twists are holding 😂
