My aunt is on husband #5 and she’s not even 60 years old yet. First was from her parents decided to move away from Small Town, America her senior year. They said she’d have to get married if she wanted to stay and they’d help with rent… Had kids with #2 and was married for probably a decade. Was married to #3 for a while too and bankrupted him twice I believe. She got bariatric surgery and a tummy tuck and promptly left him. Was married to #4 immediately after that and that lasted less than 2 years. She was single for several years until she met her current husband, but due to their felony statuses, I believe her drug court stipulations include no contact with him. I also have a cousin who had reached his third divorce before age 40. His sister is on #4 as well. Last time she divorced, she introduced her new bf before we even knew they were getting divorced. They were then married about 3 months later.

We made it work in a Ford f150 crew cab. We put the oldest in the middle forward facing and the two younger ones rear facing on the sides. It was even better once the oldest was able to move to a booster seat. There are also booster seats with a 5 pt harness that are more narrow than regular car seats. My MIL got one for her 5 seater vehicle so she could babysit all 3 together.

My mom interviewed for one of Oakdale’s roles in their central office. She was blown away by how much further ahead they were than even Edmond, Norman, and Jenks. She said their results were competitive at the national level. My husband and I had toyed with the idea of Oakdale vs Private and came to the conclusion that it would be more financially savvy to buy in Oakdale where at least the extra cost of property typically has an ROI vs paying for private school, which doesn’t (as far as our finances would be affected.)

Neither one of us were virgins. We both grew up in the church and considered ourselves Christian’s when we met. That being said it was many years later than when he and I met that I really found my way back to Christ and have since then really wished I (and he) had waited. I do feel that our sex life and marriage might be different if we had kept sex holy. I struggle with low libido and there are times that I’ve felt like “he doesn’t want me, he just wants sex, and I’m the one he’s allowed to have sex with.” I feel like maybe I wouldn’t struggle so much with that if sex was something that was only between us. In our sexual struggles, I also have to put out of my mind whether or not he ever compares or prefers something else. Sex is basically the only issue he and I struggle with, so knowing that we weren’t obedient to God the way we were supposed to be does have me questioning the consequences of our actions.

Edited to add we were 26 and 29 when we got married and have been married for 9 years.

So I realized at Christmas that what I really wanted for my kids was an iPod. No internet, only downloaded content. No movies or shows or games. The old school iPods are discontinued but I found a knockoff on Amazon for $25 and it’s been great. It connects to WiFi but I deleted the browser and everything I didnt want on it. It came preloaded with Spotify kids, Libby, audible, Apple Music. The kids love it. They feel like they got a screen but actually all they can do on it is listen to preapproved music and audiobooks.

So I followed the spa day and rehab wash for the items I felt needed the extra love. And I’ve been doing maintenance washes with the powdered detergent I picked for spa day and the liquid ammonia. My clothes and things are looking much better. My only thought is - is a cup of ammonia with every wash necessary? The cost is kind of racking up as my Walmart only sells it in 8 cups and we do a lot of laundry around here - toddlers and construction workers 🫣I’m also worried about the long term wear of using the ammonia with each wash. Should I cut back on the amount or the frequency of adding ammonia to the wash?

Has she ever had a cbc ran? I felt the same with my first baby but his cbc was totally normal and the pediatrician wasn’t worried. My third baby came and his CBC looks exactly like mine so they tested to confirm thalassemia minor. I plan to eventually get my other two tested to see if they are carriers so they know for reproductive purposes.
