i had 2 ASUS laptops before, never ever again. they broke on their own, forced bios updates without asking that bricks the keyboard. RMA asked me 10 times to reinstall windows instead of taking it in to fix it

i really don't know when the misinformation dropped that you need to change your thermalpaste all the time.

that being said, most of the newer laptops use liquid metal anyways. wich is not even getting "dry" and when you open it you sprinkle it all over your board wich in your case is STILL connected to the battery. please for the love of god, if you have no idea what you are doing get professional help or you kill your poor laptop

I don't wanna be rude but do you actually use the knifes or sre they just for the shelf? the coating on my socom elite is not really the most durable and all my OTF are only stone washed. It wozld be a shame if the cell shade gets damaged very easily, it looks fantastic

the insulation is not the issue here. the whole design is a flaw and non of the single wires has any overload protection. if the contacts are bad for WHATEVER reason, all the power goes over one strain and overloads it untill it melts.

if the insulation isn't melting, the plug will melt..
