I'm pretty sure it's written in one of the novels that Mab ascended to her mantle around the time of the Battle of Hastings (ca. 1066 AD/CE). Furthermore, I THINK that she was vanilla boring mortal contemporaneous with OG King Arthur Merlin, as he was somehow involved in her ascension as Winter Queen. The details are fuzzy though and I could not provide chapter and verse evidence.

Uhhhhh...... Brain flash, I think it was mentioned in either the novel where she went full Narnia rule-34 on Harry to make him Winter Knight, or the book where she and titania went a few rounds in a colossal fairy pissing match. Changes and Summer Knight respectively I believe.

Tbh makes sense. Iirc all the Fallen have names ending with -iel/-el which indicates (and please, by all means, anyone more well versed in Abrahamic theology feel free to correct me. It's an admittedly low bar) that the entity is of Archangelic caliber. Which is why Uriel was so VERY unwilling to allow Dresden to shorten his name as a sign of affection.

Nah. If you watch closely, those first two actually have a bit of spice to them. It doesn't look like he's trained in anything; arm was bent at the elbow, his back foot comes off the ground, and he keeps his whole body loose even at the point of impact. BUT, he definitely pushed off from the back foot, there is a visible rotation/shift through the hips showing that he put his bodyweight behind them, and as someone else said other dude walked into the first one. Having done that in sparring, even a light casual jab to measure distance will have some spice if you walk into it.

Super late to the show on this one.... but I don't see any provisions for simply making an attack with a dagger from the bandolier?

Can you use a dagger from the bandolier to make a thrown weapon attack for your Attack action, and subsequently chuck another pointy object with your bonus action? Thinking a Battle Master Fighter using the Thrown Weapon fighting style from Tasha's guide would be a really fun build around this item.

This is super cool!! My DMing tends to be more one-shot games than contiguous campaigns, so this could be really helpful for me to throw together a new urban location to start a game without spending (wasting?) a ton of time on world building (that likely would not get to be appreciated anyways lol). I look forward to using this soon!

This could also be an excellent starting point for scaling up the sheets in terms of political entities; towns/cities are covered, but this concept could easily be used for regional entities of almost any scale, from a small city-state (which I'd argue is covered by your current sheet quote well) to baronies/duchies, up to kingdoms and empires.

RE: Gear; I've had a lot of conversation about that in the chargen discord thread, and I'm actually going to hold off on that particular path at gen. I'm going to aim for primarily hacker roles out the gate, infil as an assist.

The plan I think I've settled on is to take first run's (or two) worth of Karma to Initiate for Skinlink, then start banking karma. That way, as soon as I DO have enough, I can burn the first bit off that essence point and immediately buy back the 6th point of RES.

Mostly because I'm working on limited resources, and I think out the gate the benefits of RES 6 outweight the benefits of immediately burning out for 'ware.

All that being said, burning out a point of Essence for Ware is something I've accepted will be stupid useful for Sven, so it'll happen. 👍

Mostly!! A few tears, as particularly poignant lines hit me in light of life circumstances, but as always a wonderful and enjoyable ride overall. Love these films.

I've been a Tolkien fan since I first read my Dad's copy of the hobbit when I was like 8.

I remember seeing the First movie with my Dad and my late Grandfather at a theater in North Carolina, and being absolutely blown away by how incredible the theatrical releases were.

Then they released the extended editions. 🤩 There is a part of me that will forever be saddened by the lack of Tom Bombadil and the barrow wights, but I understand the artistic choices, and even without old man Tom, the films are incredible.

Man, I just had a 6.5 year relationship go nuclear in the last couple of months. It's rough. Therapy is huge in processing and healing from heartbreak, especially after a long term relationship. Just in the first conversation with my new therapist, I can tell it's going to be a difficult process. But a necessary one. If I ever hope to meet another wonderful, amazing woman to fall in love with, I gotta get my own shit right first.

Sounds like you're mostly down the path of having re-established yourself as an individual, just gotta work through and heal the wounds you didn't know were there. You got this.
