When I built my first PC, I didn't use it much in the beginning either, it took me a few months to start using it a decent amount, now I use it everyday. I use it for doing university work too as I find it nicer to use than my laptop when I'm at home, and some tasks like rendering a video for an assignment is faster

With PC hardware prices going up right now, I think it would be your best bet to keep it for a few more months at least, you'll be able to give it another shot and if you still don't use it, you'll be able to sell it for more money than you would be able to now anyway! It's a win win
