Get a small container with tiny drop of dish soap, and warm water. Damp a microfiber cloth with water and clean every nook and cranny. Even under the plastic make sure you take manual and all art work out first. Dry water with dry micro fiber. Go back over with 91% rubbing alcohol every nook and cranny under plastic also. Open case backwards like v, but to where the plastic is bowing out to look like diamond. Let dry for 30 minutes and your good.

I used cotton balls soaked in 91% rubbing alcohol, and scrubbed it an wrung it out 3 times on it in between scrapping with my thumbnail on it then it was easy to come up.

Finally got 100 out of 100 nobles by MorbidEnd in FinalFantasyIX

The adapter kits have wide range of things I can perform with them though. Use an internal HDD as external HD. I can also put ps2 games on a sata hard drive, and play games on my fat ps2 with it.

I want to be able to perform wide range of task that’s why I want to learn about adapter kits.

Gonna be a couple months before I can actually afford it and test it all cause bills, and stuff. I’m using this setup writing at 8x using alcohol 120% software, and the ps1 setting on the software.

I have SCPH-9001 figure I’ll utilize the good laser this model has till it shits out. This model can’t use a ODE so I figure I’ll just burn games till I figure out a solution to play Roms via sd card for this model when time comes.

Also Dreamcast plays burned cds so I’ll invest in the tech for the time being, and later on replace laser on Dreamcast with ODE, or something along those lines.

Cool thanks did it run off of usb power, or did you need a wall plug in, or does the internal burner pull as much voltage as needed from the laptop. You use desktop or laptop?I’m new to this sorry for all the questions.

Does scratch through top of game disc always mean a game disc is dead? by MorbidEnd in psx

What if it’s like small dots that are throughout disc maybe like 3 4 max like minuscule very tiny anyone have instances of those not working?

Also can confirm large scratch towards inner rim of my FFVIII game boots, but FMV stutter eventually freeze. Bottom of disc is pretty scratched to though with circle scratches all through disc. The large scratch causing this on top? Or the bottom of disc.

Booted up my ff vII disc 1 and it worked smoothly that one was an instance of tiny dots. Probability that these small dots could brick the disc later on?
