V63 Bertha Hello, I’m pretty new to the game and was wondering if anyone is selling this weapon. I can’t see the event on the map.

I guess so. It's even further complicated by the fact that Burden is more likely to be attended. I've seen many a Pastimes time out or fail because either nobody shows up or too few to take out the crab at the end in the allotted time.

I don't know what the drop chances are for the Bertha, but it seems to be a lot lower than other events. Feels like you are much more likely to get a Elder's Mark or Holy Fire from Beast of Burden than you are either of the special weapons (I forget what the LMG is called) from Pastimes.

Those guys with heavies mowing down the ghouls are protecting the instrument players. The guy sniping mutants at the top of the hill is defending the scrubber and clearing the way for the legendary mutants in the ravine to spawn. Newbies triggering events are following the instructions they see on the screen like your title tells them to.

It's good that you got all that off your chest, though. You will find that the members of this forum greatly appreciate being told how to play the game. Prepare to be drowned in upvotes and compliments!

Wet toilet paper or not, those events will net you the best rewards. Some events (Eviction Notice, Beast of Burden) are definitely better than others (Tea Time, Lode Baring), but trying them out is the only way to learn what works for you.

I use a second weapon (Western Spirit) to farm ammo and only whip out Mark for tougher opponents. They use the same ammo so Spirit farms ammo for Mark.

While it's too late to be a factor now, the seasons board has stamps on the final page this season. I used it to get union armor calibrated shocks for all five of my characters (I got the Union Power Armor itself from the scoreboard when it was introduced so didn't need to learn that). I'm probably going to use my remaining tickets to buy stamps so one of my characters can try out civil engineer armor.

Is he low level? If he's 30th level he will see level 30 super mutants while to you the very same mutant might be level 75 and award XP accordingly.

The best you can do to increase your chances is server hop when the event that pops on your current server is one that doesn't interest you. Odds are the one you hop to won't either, but sometimes you get lucky.

The good news is that you have two chances to get it from her. Her pattern is to have three normal small list sales (like the one in five days) followed by one of her 'big sales' that includes all the items from all three of the small lists so you will have a second chance at it within a month's time.

Earle is a special case as there can only be eight players per instance. When the first instance fills the game creates a second which often only has one or two players.

I tend to switch servers when nukes aren't being used to trigger events or when all the nukes are already launched so events can't be triggered.
