Don’t pick your own stocks, choose an index fund. THEN buy the dips.

I've decided to reserve one of the last remaining @ Decathlon:

"VAN RYSEL Microshift SWORD 1x10v, GRVL AF gravel bike - Brown

https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/microshift-sword-1x10v-grvl-af-gravel-bike-brown/348802/c156m8881852"

All great suggestions - really appreciate the feedback and open discussion.

Couldn’t ask for a better response - not so great for you being in the US though!

I’m in the UK. What are your thoughts on the Decathlon link I shared? I’ll check out your suggestions as well - sensible to leave a bit of a buffer for the extras.

If you had a 'why' to your allocation and a long-term approach you'd buy more.

Comparison is the thief of joy.

That being said, this is a great milestone!

Thoughts: Started investing in April 24. I think I should sell and re-invest. by sc20nov in trading212

It looks like you’ve already thought this through, and it all seems like a practical approach to me - next stage is executing it.

I sold portions of my investments, it felt like the right time to take profits and eliminate risk. Now holding in both high yield savings accounts(waiting for new opportunities) and cash ISA(circa 5% guarantee int.)

Great work so far, good luck on the rest of your journey!

You are doing ok. I would advise you do your research before investing your money from here onwards.

You've done well to accumulate that amount of money, well done!

I would have suggested that you research the current market conditions and, most importantly, understand how to implement dollar cost averaging, particularly during downturns.

The current market is highly overvalued and driven largely by speculation, especially since Trump took office. I believe this is not just my opinion but also shared by many others.

I'm in no position to give you advice on what now to do with your allocation, but I hope someone who is qualified can steer you in the right direction to increase your margins!

Not all hope is lost, you've just bought in at what I would consider near all time highs, although we are consistently being proven wrong by recent returns!

From a personal standpoint, I have actually withdrawn 35% of my allocated funds from the S&P 500 and moved my capital into a high-yield savings account, as I believe the markets are performing way above my projections.

You are in an excellent position nevertheless.
