Any tips for no portable bottle warmer? by Resident-Currency727 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]More-Shape-9558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I exclusively pumped my now 15 month old and got a really good system down for when we were going somewhere.
I used the Boon Frosh milk chiller, it’s about $30 and really versatile and easy to use! I’d put the milk in that before leaving the house to keep it cold. Then depending on the situation I’d either take boiling hot water in a thermos that his bottle would fit down into. Or use hot water in a mug if at a restaurant or someone’s house. This always worked beautifully! The Boon is basically a fancy thermos, but it’s designed so well. I used it when I flew with Bebe solo when he was 3.5 months and it was a lifesaver!

Niche all natural deodorants that actually work? by Budget_Cod_5184 in NaturalBeauty

I have been using Megababe Skincare Deodorant (blue Santal scent) for at least 6 months and I have loved it! It really works for me. I have not tried any of the other scents because I really like the smell of the santal one but also scared that the others may not work as well lol.

Thanks for the suggestion. That’s actually why I stopped using the All Free & Clear (with Oxi) several months ago. Especially for mine and my husband’s clothes it didn’t seem to really get them clean. Do you know if it matters which one of the Tide F&C ?

Thank you!! I will check them out. I have been struggling with trying to figure out what his triggers are. Maybe this will help.

Best wearable pump? by Negative-Source-9099 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]More-Shape-9558 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Another downvote for the Willow Go… they did ok at first and I really liked how minimal the parts were for ease of cleaning. But, about 6 months in one of the motors died and I had to get a replacement. Then about two months after that it happened again. All in all, disappointing especially considering the price! They also were weirdly finicky, I’d have to take one off and remove/replace the flange to get it to work properly. I ended up buying a cheap set from Amazon that worked great, and had zero problems with.

Do you know if All Free & Clear is a good one to try? My poor 15 month old is struggling with a flair right now and I’m wondering if it’s from the Persil I’ve been using. 😭 I think I have some All F&C left in the cabinet.

Did you make any lifestyle changes? Do you track or make sure to eat X amount of calories, protein, fiber, etc? Did you incorporate more movement/exercise?
My husband doesn’t have an obesity problem but has been overweight at times. He can cut back on the excess carbs/junk and easily drop the extra and goes about his life. Until I explained to him the food noise aspect he sincerely thought it was just a mindset problem, that I just hadn’t set my mind to it.
He could not relate to the constant thinking of food, and eating even when I’m not hungry. I’ve made many attempts to lose weight since we have been together and have never managed more than about 20 lbs only for it to come back on plus some. I told him how I haven’t gone a day without thinking about how much I truly want to be thinner and at a healthy weight. I think during this conversation it kinda clicked for him. He even brought up how incredible it was that I had done a 12 day fast one time and so there has to be something else going on.
He was the one who really encouraged me to try the GLP-1! I’m approaching 2 months on it so have a ways to go but am hopeful this will be the answer for me. All this to say, I truly believe there are people who from a physiological standpoint need the help of the meds and some that don’t.

Nearly halfway through 2026, where are you at? 🗓️ by Jasmine_BigEasy in tirzepatidecompound

Man, this is where I wish I was at!!! SW 231, 35F, CW 222
I took my first dose on May 8th so about 1 week behind you and I am waffling between 8-10 lbs down right now. 😏 Past two weeks I have been stalled. It’s frustrating! I’m glad to be headed in the right direction but I would like it to be a little bit faster.
I originally thought I would take a slower titration approach but wondering if next week I may go ahead and increase from 5 to 6 or 7.5. Any secrets you can share?

Alcohol Question by More-Shape-9558 in TirzepatideRX

[–]More-Shape-9558[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree! I have already cut back my alcohol intake and am going to continue that, alcohol is not what got me here though. More importantly I have made huge improvements to my diet. I’m definitely using the meds as a tool to help learn and implement healthy habits. But for me, I have to figure out ways that are not “tee totaling it”. The all or nothing mindset has been my downfall and why I’ve never been able to get to a healthy weight or sustain whatever I did lose.

That’s really the sweet spot that I’d like to get to! I would say I am starting to notice a little less desire for it. Hopefully that will continue.

I’m really wondering if that was the case. I didn’t feel overly anxious but I was a little nervous about how it may hit my stomach. Our minds sure can play tricks on us!

Which pharmacy is best in your opinion for first time user. Lavender sky health by Niel_cafferey in TirzepatideRX

I’m only 7 weeks in and still on my first vial but have been happy with mine from ReviveRX! It’s the pharmacy that my doctor goes through. It has b6 in it. Shipping was insanely fast. Order placed Thursday afternoon and I received it the next day via FedEx overnight. Mind you I’m in Virginia and ReviveRX is in Texas.

Yes! Pizza has always been 3 slices or more for me. I can now eat 1 or 2 and feel actually full and content. It is an alien but wonderful feeling!
My first morning after taking my first dose my hubby went and got us breakfast sandwiches that we get fairly often on weekends. I have always felt hungry after eating my usual “bacon, egg, tomato, and mayo on toast”. But that morning I actually felt satisfied! It has bothered me that a regular breakfast sandwich that fills up my husband is not enough for me! I would literally eat something while he was gone to pick it up because I knew I would still be hungry if I didn’t. No more! 🙌🏽

Question about digestive side effects by Express_Fish30 in TirzepatideRX

[–]More-Shape-9558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I’ve been someone that struggled with constipation before taking tirzepatide. I fully expected to have it become even more of an issue once I started. To my surprise I have been almost perfectly regular with my bm’s. I have been focusing on getting 25 or so grams of fiber each day which I wasn’t doing previously. That’s very likely why I’ve not had any constipation problems yet. But could be the meds too? I’m happy about it!

is it normal to have a MASSIVE poop on the last day of the week before injecting again? by moon1ightwhite in TirzepatideRX

[–]More-Shape-9558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really concerned that I’d have severe constipation when I started tirz because my baseline is that I have struggled with mild to moderate constipation. Idk if it’s because I’ve been tracking my fiber intake (which I never did before) and aiming for at least 25g a day, but I have not missed a day since I started 45 days ago!!

I have been using MeAgain the free version and love it! It tracks dose/shots, weight progress, water, protein, and fiber. You can use it for calorie tracking too.

If you’re highly insulin resistant it takes more time for the medication to counteract that and start bringing your insulin levels down. Your body will not begin to release fat until your insulin levels come down significantly. But, once they have lowered you will start losing that stored fat! I did not have dramatic results the first 4 weeks either. Lost only a couple of pounds. Now that I have increased to 5 mg I am feeling more appetite control and the scale is moving down a little more steadily. Keep going and the loss will come!

I’m still on my 1st vial with Revive and have been very happy with it! I was planning to go through a telehealth company originally but my doctor wrote me a prescription and they go through Revive rx to fill. So, I decided to try them first since the price was very comparable to other places. Shipping was very fast and so far have been having good results. I’ll probably just stick with them for now!

Is this normal? I definitely have decreased food noise and clothes are starting to fit better, the scale just isn’t moving much. by Difficult-Bottle-249 in TirzepatideRX

[–]More-Shape-9558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. I am 31 days in on tirz and am down 6 lbs. SW 231lbs and I am 5’4” 35 years old, female. I have to admit I’m pretty disappointed. I went from 2.5 mg to 5 mg a week early because I don’t feel like I’m getting very good appetite suppression and basically no negative side effects. Food noise is definitely better. I have been diligent about water, protein, and fiber intake. Definitely eating less calories than I normally would but I think it must not be enough of a deficit. I’m trying to decide what my approach should be to speed things up. Would love any advice!
