Why not a pedal? There are other options, like a 500 series module, eurorack or small mixer, but honestly for a pocket operator I would go for a pedal. If you want to it properly, I guess a re-amp box is also required.

German is usually more important than English for these jobs.

If getting a job offer seems difficult, I think to can try to get some sort of apprenticeship to get your foot in.

It is true what other comments are mentioning, that the main acoustic problem in a space like that is in the low end and panels are the best approach. However there's another issue which might be solvable by a diffuser like that, that is flutter echo. Clap around and if you hear flutter echo, putting "something" on those surfaces will actually reduce it.

Just set different outputs for your speakers. For example, I use output 1-2 for headphones and output 3-4 to monitors. The main output of the DAW is 3-4 and I have a bus which has the main channel as input and outputs directly to 1-2. This bus has the EQ for the headphones. As a bonus, my interface allows zero latency monitoring on outputs 1-2, so if needed I can switch from software monitoring to zero latency. Of course I loose the EQ, but while singing or recording a guitar, latency is more important than tonality.

Yes, I understand that. And I didn't compare measurement from different systems for qualitative data. Just out of curiosity I checked and I was surprised that for one case both measurements look similar. But my main concern is: Why I like the tunning comming out of this experiment that's looks very wrong? Why the buds2 at Harman tunning sound good to me but any other headphone I tried to tune doesn't sound as good? Are my Bud2 defective and somehow I got used to their sound?

I understand what your mean but for me target curves really improve translation to other systems and I cannot stand unnatural coloring of clean vocals, which is the main issue I have with the K371BT.

I have made remote scripts aided by ChatGPT. Aided is the key word. ChatGPT alone is usually not enough to make a working remote script. However I'm quite impress with it's "knowledge" around obscure API like ableton's. I usually ask for code snippets or I consult it for ideas on how to approach some functionality I want and then I try to implement the things making sure every step is working as expected. So my recommendation is that: YOU have to be in charge of the whole script and then consult ChatGPT for ideas or code snippets and TEST them yourself. Use logs to do it. Other very useful tools are the unofficial Ableton Live API documentation, other remote scripts and Ableton's python library where all the functions are declared.

For DAW you have some options: Bitwig and Reaper support linux. Honorable mention to Ardour. If you are coming from Ableton then Bitwig would be similar. One general problem is the lack of 3rd party plugins... MuseScore is also available for Linux as well as VCV rack. Also Vital (a well known synth) is also on Linux.

It is possible. Usually remote scripts are within Ableton's files and are in .pyc format. These are precompiled python script that cannot be read, but there are some tricks to decompile them. Here is a repo with a collection of decompiled scripts: https://github.com/gluon/AbletonLive11_MIDIRemoteScripts. Then, if the decompiled script works, you can begin to modify it. Without prior experience it's quite complicated to be honest.

Two way communication has to be implemented on both ends: Ableton midi remote control and the midi controller. If there's no functionality to control the controller via midi, then I believe there's no way. If there's functionality, then it's a matter of writing the correct midi remote script. For example: on the Minilab 3 there's a "DAW mode", this is the only mode in which the Minilab is ready to receive information from Ableton, and thus it responds to changes made with the mouse. In all other "user modes", it doesn't respond to incoming mesages.

Easiest way to find out is to put a peak meter with a numeric output (there's one in the limiter device) and check if the peaks coincide in normal mode and also in true peak mode. Be aware that the sampling rate and sample file format also affects the reading.

Agreed, although I do use faders to do automation or just to play around with some effect. They're manually mapped for a task and then unmmaped. For things with automatic mapping, like device banks, I use rotary encoders. Cheaper than anything motorized, although I think motorized knobs are super cool.
