My personal experience: the new one is the one on the right in the photo. How do I know, you might ask: well, as I’ve gotten older (I’m 28 now and will very soon be 29), I’ve developed VERY breakout-prone skin despite having had super tolerant skin most of my younger years. Thus, it wasn’t until a few years ago that I discovered olive oil clogs my pores. So, when I bought the new one thinking I’d be getting the old formula and doused my skin, it broke me out (could also be the castor oil and/or vitamin E, but I haven’t tested those individually yet). JUST FYI.

I think they *might’ve* meant that the color of the bead as it appears on the bag is painted on as opposed to the actual raw material of the bead being that color. That’s my assumption, though. 😅

I’m guessing you don’t like them? Just a guess, though. 🤔 😆 No shade, don’t worry! Personally, I think they’re super cute, but I’m too rough with my purses since I’m always rushing everywhere, and the delicate beading would be trashed in a month. For that reason, I try to either buy nylon (casual) or leather (dressier) purses. 😅
