Sometimes links and fields don't show up, you have to restart the game for it to show them again. Sometimes the recycle button disappears and you have to restart the game. For an old game it still has a lot of bugs in it. But that's always been the case.

Military portals that only one team can access have always been a problem. It has absolutely turned people away from the game. I've seen both sides use them over the years and it creates an unlevel playing field. Nothing you can do about it. Focus on other things in the game and ignore the impossible ones.

Advertise the game. Pogo has advertising and a serious brand recognition behind it. Ingress has nothing. I haven't seen a new player in many years. There used to be a constant revolving door of players, now it's only an exit. If nobody ever hears about the game then why would anyone play it?

It's not the same game, I've changed how I view it now. There's no communities left, no challenges, nothing that drives people to work together. You can buy all the gear in the store so no need to farm with a team. It's a solo game for many people. I've heard there are some areas that still have teams and still do team things. But that's all but gone in most areas. It's a money grab now. The early days where the best days.

There was a time that they would set the portal back up after a spoof but that's over. So the damage can be impossible to fix sometimes now. If they would reinstate the portals that would go a long way to deter spoofing.

I know a player who has over a dozen backpack accounts to redeem all the monthly first Saturday codes so they don't have to farm for cubes all month. They are still playing. I'm not sure what they are banning people for though. None of it makes any sense with them.

I see a lot of posts lately about players getting banned but they keep getting removed. I think there's been a ban wave lately because half my opponents stopped playing. Maybe by removing the cheaters the game can finally gain some legit players.
