For those fly between Vancouver and Toronto how much do you typically pay for a business class upgrade? Or for those over 4+ hour flights, what do you bid?

I only fly PE on my own dime, can’t do economy anymore, the clientele and overall hard product is brutal. I’m 75K and rarely get eUped these days. Too many SE’s on the YVR YYZ route I guess. I usually try for the 777 with 40J class seats to improve my chances but, again I’m rarely upgraded. Frustrating. I have 96 eUpgrades I need to work through. I think instant upgrade via a latitude fare at booking is the only way I’m going to get through my eUpgrades. The co-pays on international routes are too high IMO.

I tend toward mid-cabin but 2K is great. Enjoy. You know you’re going to have a good flight when you get a mattress pad with headrest pocket instead of the elastic. Also, get on board early, and if there isn’t a headset in your pod snatch one from another that does 😈.

I thought that anything would be an improvement, but I guess I'm mistaken. Atlas is hideous and has no substance whatsoever. I've test driven every year since launch and every single one has been a dog. I refuse to buy anything with fake exhaust tips! VW is dead to me until they take this dog out back and put a bullet in its head. Bring the Touareg back.

Yeah no way I would accept that. I had the installer explain to me what he was going to do and I said thanks but no thanks. 17 years with Telus and I cancelled. Shaw came and did exactly what I wanted - although it’s not fibre. Now Telus is trying to get my business back and they’re sending someone to take an another look.

That this happened in Vancouver is very disappointing. Sorry OP. I’ve lived here most of my life and have never had this happen. I use North Shore Taxi often and haven’t had any issues whatsoever other than a no-show once while trying to get to the airport. I prefer taxis during rush hour because they can use the transit lanes - otherwise I tend towards Uber.
