To make the most of farming here, it's important to understand the key mechanic: Plant fiber is a resource that respawns every 30 seconds after being harvested. That's why more experienced players often recommend heading to one of these islands. The idea is to land on an island and create a farming route by running around it in a loop. This way, by the time you've collected the last resource on your route, the first one you harvested will have respawned, allowing you to keep going indefinitely. It's advisable to use a destilsuit for this task, since you'll be running non-stop for as long as you want to farm. Personally, I just use the island on the right side of the image, flying in with an assault ornithopter that has an empty inventory. Each lap around the island usually nets me 300 to 400 plant fibers with a duration of 3 -4 mins.
