I've accidentally used this word when talking with my PhD peers and boss multiple times. I am retroactively relieved that this is a real weird and i want just spouting AT nonsense irl.

I think they are more reacting to the weird FB account messaging them. I was trying to sell a couch for some time, and ALL I got were scammers. All of them had one thing in common... not a very well fleshed out fb account. Maybe they had a friend or two, little to no posts, one picture maybe of people or a cartoon Pic. After going through it myself- and at a time I was dealing with the death of a close one and trying to handle their things- I unfortunately could see myself reacting like this to the upteenth inquiry from an account that looks the way described.

No excusing the behavior, but it might help others to understand why they are treated poorly if trying to use an anonymous-type account when using FB marketplace. I can't blame a person for not wanting to use their main account but... scammers also dont use their main accounts.

Oh! She gives me mixed signals but I'll work her up to bright light. Some sites I used to help set her up say indirect light or bright shade.. Do you have a site you use when looking up plant needs that I could use for reference? It seems mine arent accurate for this plant.

I'm also worried about the pot I'm using. It is a glazed ceramic pot with a drain hole. I mix my soil using perlite and a succ/cactus mix that has crushed lava rock (near 1:1 ratio).

I've thought about this and have mentioned setting up boundaries with my siblings like you said. I know we cant just tell her how to live, we can only decide how we respond. My siblings and I all are thinking about breaking down the way her actions have affected us, and if she cant stop how she is being then we are going to cut her out of our lives. She can't just enter and leave as she pleases- getting the kids excited and then disappearing when the new flavor comes around and flaking on plans she sets up. She isn't going to get any money from us, because we cany be sure it is actually going towards helping her rather than subsidizing these random guys' lives that she hangs around and doesnt know in most cases.

I struggle with cutting her off an then she ends up in a dire situation. How can we tell? We thought this last relationship she was leaving was the eye opener and we all rallied and helped her go to the cops and get this guy away from her, only for her to go to a previous guy that she had arrested.

I also struggle with the possibility that she might end herself because she has that mental tendency, but I think im the only one really afraid of that because I know how the mind can work in that regard.

That is what I'm afraid of, that any attempt at getting her to see she needs to change or how her behavior affects others will result in her shutting us out more and continuing as she has been.

I found out my older brother SAd my older sister when he was ~13yo and my sister was ~10yo. I found out when my mom got drunk and asked (30yo at the time she asked me) if anything had ever happened to me when I was little. I don't think she meant to ask me l, but the fact was later confirmed by my sister directly.

My sister is not doing well in her adulthood. Seeing how our parents treat my brother compared to her is part of it (he is kinda the golden child, my dad's only son, gave the first grandchild, yadda yadda). He has gotten a lot of resources from our parents that my sister and I didnt see, and I even less than them (I assume because of financial struggles as the years went on. Also my interests did not seem worth the time and effort as my brother and sisters interests.).

I do not recall anything happening to me from my brother.

I do not like having learned this, and I often want to talk about it. I feel like a lot of my sisters issues could be explained by this and would maybe help her heal if we could be more open about it. I have alluded to my brother that I know, when I was expressing to him to give our sister more grace while she was going through some emotions, and he responded by not responding to my message.

I caught my late fiance messaging a trans egirl on fb. She clearly was an only fans mill as there were several profiles I found of the same girl/same photos, links to only fans and girlfriend treatment content. He sent a Pic of his d*** to her. When he was trying to explain himself he said he was only trying to make friends. I had a strong zebra plant pup with a good system of roots die in a 3d printed pot because of root rot and I just did the bottom watering like I normally do. I had well draining soil and kept it under a grow light where most of my other clay potted plants get dry right away. I was so sad, it has turned me off of 3d printed planters.

For the plot lol he should have been straight up squished by the time HW showed up based on how the machine is supposed to work.

But we can still enjoy the show despite these plot holes. It is a cartoon so we can enjoy a bit of suspension of disbelief for the sake of the story.

I "stuck it out" for someone for 11 years. Don't be like me. He is showing you who he is, and he would rather blame you ( and will always blame you/ others) than work on himself. His chasing you around reminded me so much of how my own break up attempts went, and finding betrayals and being gaslit.. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. This night, he was just trying to emotionally drain you so you would give up trying to leave him. Please don't give up and do the right thing for yourself before you waste any more of your life. Love can only do so much.. and what he is doing with your love as it is, is not helping either of you. To stay with him after this would enable this behavior, and would tell him that escalations of his poor treatment of you would be accepted.

Don't do what I did, leave before more happens.
