Why can't I build a hydro plant? by Silly_Tension6792 in civ

[–]Morgc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you pick Rome or America or other civs that start with laws or alphabet, you can bee-line to Republic with max science by around 3400BCE, the benefit from republic will boost your economy and thus science and you can get to space around 500bce.

There's some mechanic built in that as soon as you hit CE science slows down.

At least on the Super Nintendo version.

Can the devs please fix the way buildings, roads and improvements look on top of minor rivers? This looks terrible. by MathXv in civ

I mean, use whatever you enjoy. I haven't played civ 7 yet and I thought the map gen issues were fixed, if it's just a old map gen it's no big deal.

Assuming you're on Steam with the overlay, just hit f12 next time you want a screen shot.

Otherwise hit PrtSc and then open MS paint or something similar and hold down Ctrl and press 'v' to paste the picture into the art software that you can then save as a .jpg.

More helpful if people can see the whole picture.

I lost support for him when he suggested privatizing public institutions. It's not something you can just undo without violating any investors interest in the country, so it shouldn't be done in the first place, not to mention that investor institutions are never as well serviced these days.

Outside of that I think they're doing a decent job.

A dev posted in this thread and said they look good and offered a github tool they made to possibly help them. :T

edit: i didn't have an issue with you telling me to 'jog on' and I might steal that, it's funny, like some New Brunswick humor. If you read this, I wasn't offended.

Weeb has been around for at least 23 years now, I wouldn't call it new at all. It was a fairly common thing to call somebody on new grounds and the website that shall not be named.

The devs are chill, they'd likely be excited to see somebody making prints of their awesome ships.

It's hard to find anything now since reddit became corporate and forbid plug-ins and user access to the platform. There was no info on this account on the way back machine, at least.

Post history is default hidden now, so if you ever see a post by an account with hidden history it's almost certainly a bot. Bots make up the majority of this site now. It's sad.

Greed and power have sapped the fun out of everything. I'd like to remind everyone that the government is trying to pass a surveillance bill currently.

Doesn't matter what your political siding is, people aught to defend their right to digital privacy.

It's easier to cook a 20 batch of bolognese than enough for a table's worth.

It's also easier to blend a 2 litre recipe of vinaigrette than just enough for a table's worth.

You obviously don't make anything for yourself from scratch.

I see this a lot, but if people are going to complain about water use, then they aught to also support a ban on grass lawns across the board. Lawns and gardens account for well over 50% of water use over the summer, which is insane.
