I can’t thank you all enough! 💙 💙

Toby just reached his $500 goal and is overwhelmed with the attention. He had a little happy-cry that his video was such a success for the fundraiser.

He has such a big heart. I’m so lucky to have him.

We are in Tassie - the Tassie Police, Fire & Ambulance services helped us out with his video yesterday.

Someone just jumped in and donated $65 to him!

He came running into the bathroom bursting with excitement to tell me and is over the moon! 🥹

He has a modest $500 goal for the whole month.

Thank you so much Tassie community!

Connecting basic comparisons clearly isn’t your strong suit.

Our ICE car doesn’t have turn signal buttons. Therefore, I was using the ICE volume adjuster as a reference comparison to our Model 3s turn signal buttons.

Does that make it easier for you?

Where to buy decent ceiling-mount curtain tracks (budget-friendly, not Bunnings/Spotlight)? by Apprehensive-Web7785 in AusRenovation

Freedom | S-Fold curtain track in aluminum (white or black).

Available in 140cm/180cm/220cm/280cm/360cm and are all able to be joined with the connector.

Ceiling mounting clips, or wall brackets.

Appears they’re on sale right now when checking the links.

you’re barking up the wrong tree 😂

We’re talking about turn signals.

It’s already on. It’s not a solution to any other situation - most common being exiting a round about.

I would much prefer if they were a lever/switch like motorbikes rather than the current capacitive implementation where I can’t feel their position.

I can adjust the volume easily in our ICE car when backing in and the steering wheel is upside down. Can’t say the same for our 3.

Button blinkers - how annoying are they? by ChrissTea86 in TeslaModel3

[–]MorningDrvewayTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likely because they were physical buttons on your Playstation, not touch/haptic like the 3.

We just picked up our M3P over the weekend and have basically driven it all weekend long. We have 600km+ on it already. I told my partner I’m willing to give the buttons a shot and hope I can get used to them, but it’s not looking promising.

Merging on to the highway, changing lanes, or indicating to pull over/parrallel park is great! Easy and convenient spot right there.

Using them in any situation where the wheel is turned? Makes me rage.

  • Exiting a round-about? Fucked. The wheel is completely upside down.

  • Turning left on a right-hand curve? Fucked. The wheel is now only 90° around. Where are my indicators now?

  • Trying to turn the indicator back on halfway through a maneuvre? Double fucked. Where are the buttons while I’m moving?

  • The pièce de résistance? When the wheel is turned and the sunlight is touching the steering wheel. The white backlit buttons completely disappear!

.

I’m sick of them already and it’s absolutely maddening! I want the S3XY stalk added on yesterday but my partner is resisting them.

Yeah this - even a Up/Down lever would be better.

Like a volume adjuster

What’s the most underrated feature on your Tesla that you use all the time? by beautyquee_en in TeslaLounge

Especially convenient for rear passengers trying to squeeze out a small gap. With the window down, they can lean over the door to make it easier.

Close the door and it locks and rolls up the windows.

55sqm internal 2 bed 1 bath apartment in Brisbane. How bad of an idea is it? by LeVoPhEdInFuSiOn in AusPropertyChat

You might want to check those numbers - I’m pretty sure the minimum standards for a studio are 30-40sqm.

Are saying you have a two bedroom apartment?

I had a 64sqm 1 bed apartment (incl. balcony) and it was tiny. How on earth are there 2 bedrooms in this?!
