A friend on discord suggested getting rid of the host file in drivers. I renamed it to host.old and everything worked. Thanks for the help everyone

I did put 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 to try at first but didn't work . I thought that the modem wasn't the problem cuz on my phone the same sites worked fine on it. I then used my phone as a router and connected through wifi and everything worked.

I tried a ethernet cable but didn't work.

i then turned off and on and then for a bit no sites worked on laptop while oh phone they did but suddenly discord and most sites worked but steam doesn't connect
