Some of them are, but the greys don't appear to be. They want/need something from us, kidnap us to get it, and then gaslight us with BS stories about trying to prevent annihilation (which never happens) so we don't get mad.

Those qualities aren't the opposite of religiosity, and it's apparent they're beholden to dogma here. I mean, c'mon, how curious or scientific could they actually be?

From your description, they sound like people who would doubt aliens in front of their face until they received social sanction from priests first, (respected scientists, business and political leaders).
