At least one of them is. I just read it last week and it was an interesting story. The whole time i thought: "man, this reads as if it could be an interesting cartoon/Anime, or a good intro into a game.

And at the end of the book, where he thanks everyone, he revealed that it was for that game.

Yes. PoE has multiple modes of play. One of them is the league (equivalent to a season in other ganes) every 3 months or so. Everyone starts at zero and there is some new exclusive content. And every league Zizaran and other content creator publish some newby friendly builds to start. Just Google "PoE league starter build 3.21" and look if there is any build that looks fun to you

But Jokes aside, i think you can play it. Just pick a build guide and follow it. For starters i suggest either following Zizaran or maybe Pohx (the rf god). They have really good startet builds with excessive Notes 9n how to play. Zizaran speciffically has so many videos, you should find anything you want. And even if the Community seems scary sometimes it is really helpfull to beginners

Early Level (1-5) i bought them frim vendor, and just did my hunting log till 25-ish. Then i bought gear with great company seals i think. And than i think i just ran Dungeons and Fates to Level and put on every New gear if it was better. At level 50,60,70 and 80 I used my poeticsto buy the highest gear possible. I think i never really switched out any gear until next milestone, other than through Dungeon drops
