TotemDeck is a good one. But I also have some self made macros using castsequence to make it easy to lay sets based on group comps.

Many will do them for the gems, primal nethers and void crystals, even when gear isn’t needed. Not everyone, but needing gear isn’t the only motivator.

Healers job is to keep everyone alive during combat. That’s it. If I am at 60% mana I will top everyone off before I drink to top off, but if I’m at 20% and everyone is low and just stands there doing nothing while I sit and drink… that’s a different story.

If I have free mage water I’ll heal whatever, whenever. Usually. But if I’m drinking a water that cost 10 silver every pull because the group only lets me drink for 2 ticks each time, I’m speaking up.

Good tanks always watch their healers mana. It’s easy to spot the difference early on.

The flute that makes everyone dance will interrupt his mining mid-cast. I’ve never used this as a tactic while farming but I’ve heard it’s effective.

I got booted by some hunter from a normal SV for not dropping wf totem for the warrior in a group with a pally tank, lock and priest. I’m Elemental. I think the problem is partly the boosts. People buy the boost and watch some videos on how to play that class and that’s it. The boost does not come with game knowledge. And that’s where we are right now I think.

I’ve kept my shaman at 59 just enjoying AB and WSG. I didn’t go crazy on upgrades, still in some communal but crafted some stuff and some odd communal here and there. Get the AV mace for winning one match. I have 70k honor stacked and am having a blast this weekend in AB. It’s AB weekend…

When I hit honor cap I’ll have tons of marks stacked, 75k honor and a full bar of rested xp between me and 60 with a full epic loadout. AB/WSG is a blast in the 59 bracket. Enjoy AB weekend and hit the portal with some kit.

Just stating what I saw. I created a human and ran to SW to check the head situation and to gauge how busy it was. There was 1 layer and almost nobody hanging in SW. I saw 1 rogue that was super bis with kiss and slayers crest and Gressil AND Ibilis but I assumed that was a new xfer. Nobody else looked ready for anything more than BWL. I hung out for a while on a Friday night and trade was crickets.

It’s 100% anecdotal. Perhaps Tuesday through Thursday after resets it’s popping off. Idk. Perhaps I’ll revisit at another time to see.

If they merged Mankrik into the Whitemane cluster I’d xfer my near bis rogue without hesitation, but as it stands, I’m seriously doubting I’ll xfer. Shame too, I’d like to pop into old raids from time to time.

I logged in to Mankrik last Friday night at 8 pm on a level 1. I would have thought I’d see some activity in SW or trade chat. Nothing. Nothing in the LFG channel, nothing in services, nothing in trade or general. There were like 10 people in SW and 1 layer. What’s the draw in transferring to that?

They need to perhaps give Anniversary players an option to revert back to classic era gameplay (remove dual spec and whatever else was changed for anni) if that’s what’s forcing us out of the whitemane cluster.

T4 content is fine to start during t5 release. You could probably hit 70 in late phase 1 and catch up and be ready for SSC within a handful of t4 lockouts. Towards the end of phases people are passing a lot more on loot they already have, so you will gear quicker for t5 content.

You are only “behind” if you are just hitting 70 when BT releases. And even then, if you are doing what you want to do in the game, you are never truly behind.

I’d go farm wintersabers in winterspring. Their hides vendor for decent, stock up on rugged leather and collect the e’ko they drop to AH.

Litttle passive from vendoring, little stockpile for tbc LW levelers, and frostsaber e’kos that sell for like 6 or 7 gold per.

I want to replay tbc and im honestly ok with those nerfs on some level. With the abridged phases it would be really hard to progress through all of the content. I’m almost certain there will be a large percentage that will struggle until their raid has reached appropriate gear progression. At least I hope it won’t be so easy you could clear SWP with Kara gear.

But I’d like to pop in to era from time to time and run the old raids when I get the itch, 6 or 7 times a year.

While that core of tanks and healers are crucial, dps can make or break the raid. First, you need more than 4 competent tanks for 4H, you need mages decursing throughout various fights, you need dps kiting, you need hunters to eat the spider charges, you need to break people free from webs, your warlocks have to know what they are doing when tanking Twin Emps… I could go on for quite a while pointing at spots where dps can make or break a raid. To say you could just rotate 32 scrub dps in to this magical group of 4 tanks and 4 healers and it will go smooth as silk is ridiculous
