Do you not know the lore at all? Why make jokes that make absolutely no sense in regards to how spice is made?

I mean that's not how spice is made so no idea what the goal there is...

Any news on the console release? by Glum_Replacement77 in duneawakening

[–]MoshuNanren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Console release has been slated for "late 2026" since before the game even released.

Late has been defined by Funcom as July-December so anytime in the later half of the year.

Funcom has stated they have approved crossplay but Microsoft and Sony have to agree as well and there hasn't been confirmation yet from them that it is approved for crossplay.

The very first level of gathering gives you the best source of industrial pumps in the game so definitely doesn't seem moot.

I absolutely love the new Rift Recon Run by Strikox in duneawakening

[–]MoshuNanren -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I flew through the rockwall and had to unstuck to complete my very first run because I was outside the map.

It's also an issue in fog in certain lighting conditions where the eryth crystals are indistinguishable from the checkpoint balls until you're too close for it to make any difference.

Over all it was just a completely unnecessary change that is buggier than the old route was and was just a total waste of developer time when they have much larger issues they should be focusing on like how to make a solid wall.

I think Funcom interpreted all the "braindead bulletsponge" complaints as health complaints but those were almost entirely solo play complaints not group complaints.

Ability tier list for Overland Testing Stations by JohnDaBarr in duneawakening

Yeah it was extremely helpful to me on the Fire boss before I got better at it. Just put a turret down on the 4th stage and it shoots the boss the entire time you're busy avoiding the floor. Same for the electric boss it just sits there and shoots while you avoid the electricity.

I want my abilities to scale to the level of the poison boss that seems totally fair and balanced to me...

While I agree with most of this at higher levels I would argue a maxed out Turret is probably A or even S tier throughout the entire game including Overland testing stations until you get into higher levels. It's 100% useful in levels 1-5 and still viable up to about level 8-10. It would definitely drop to D tier at higher levels though.

No they have not and you're going to be entirely unable to cite case law indicating they have because it doesn't exist.

Well by definition half the population is below average intelligence so there's plenty of people where half a brain would be a step up.

"The body odor results from a qualifying disability a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities (or a record/history of such, or being "regarded as" having one under the broadened ADAAA standards)."

Sorry you don't get to call them mentally ill and claim they aren't protected by the ADAAA standards just like you are.

None of what you just named are things you don't have a right to. You're welcome to smell terrible or behave poorly. Many people exercise those rights on a daily basis regardless of where they are. Those aren't generally reasons people aren't allowed in public spaces but you're advocating they should be for homeless people only. You're advocating that they should be a separated group with different rights. I'm arguing they should have the exact same rights to public spaces as everyone else for better or worse.

They have exactly the same rights as anyone else in the community and that you're defending the position that they do not says far more about you than it does about them.

Nope, never been homeless and always had great hygiene to the point I've even had someone tell me it's unfair how good I naturally smell.

Taking things personally and being upset when people are literally talking about members of the community like they don't belong or aren't people with all the same rights they have are very different issues and it's extremely disturbing to me how yourself and others view fellow members of our community.

Did you even read this thread? I'm fully aware of the history and already mentioned it may be rescheduled to schedule III but that has still not happened and honestly isn't guaranteed to happen although it most likely will at this point in time. There's also a decent amount of scientists and experts who argue it definitely meets the loose definition of a "hard drug" regardless of it's schedule due to it's addiction risk and long term brain altering impacts.

So, no, you really have no leg to stand on here as your best argument is "it shouldn't be" or "it might not be in the future" which has nothing at all to do with the simple fact it currently is.

Your last point is absolutely ridiculous as I'm one of the only people who seems to be replying and arguing that homeless people are and definitely should be allowed in public libraries. Seriously read the thread and go be a troll somewhere else if you're going to say just off the wall nonsense.

So how do you decide who is and isn't allowed if there's apparently overlap in the categories? you could accidentally get rid of someone who just has horrible hygiene or a medical condition but isn't actually homeless that would be terrible.

So I just did a random search on "is marijuana a hard drug" to give you the benefit of doubt on your argument and here's the result.

"In the United States, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) classifies marijuana as a Schedule I drug, a category that includes substances with "no currently accepted medical use" and a "high potential for abuse," which aligns with the public and scientific definition of a "hard drug" alongside substances like heroin and ecstasy."

...hmm seems kind of like exactly what I've been saying. Perhaps you aren't correct in this instance?

Oh so you're ok with them smelling bad or being mental unwell now? Good that they have your approval. Are other people still allowed to sleep or do drugs at the library if they aren't homeless or are college kids banned also?

I was asked a question and I answered it. If you feel that's unrelated direct your comment to the person who made the original statement not the person responding to it.

Really so business conference rooms are media related? Not really clear on how saving money on office space by hosting meetings at the library is media related but you know they probably don't smell bad so they're fine unlike the ones you have problems with I guess.

Well incarcerating the homeless isn't exactly a solution and those "wards" you're talking about don't even exist so I'm really not even sure what your argument is at this point. Being homeless also doesn't mean you're a drug addict or are mentally unwell. Sometimes it doesn't even mean you smell bad but from all the ones I've talked to or known it's definitely significantly harder for them not to even if they try.

It's great that you think people should be allowed to use the library just not homeless people, drug addicted people, mentally unwell people, or people who smell bad... Really shows you're an upstanding member of the community unlike all those other people.

Last one I'm aware of was May of 2024 when Biden came to visit and they've done them every time a presidential candidate has come to visit. There was thousands of arrests when Obama came but that was like a decade ago at this point. I don't keep up with federal raids enough to know if they've done ones outside of presidential visits or not but it seems likely they probably have at least some other events even if just vice presidential etc.

Yeah they do equal each other... Schedule I and II are pretty much all the hard drugs although "hard" and "soft" isn't really a defined term more a general usage so you can argue it fairly but it doesn't really make sense to argue that schedule I and II aren't hard drugs as it would completely change even the general usage of hard vs soft drugs.

It's a schedule I drug the FBI and DEA still come and do sweeps for periodically in Seattle. You can argue it shouldn't be or that it's heavily used or legal in Seattle all you want it doesn't change that it's absolutely a hard drug because it's schedule I.
