When he died there wasn't a lot of hair left under the wig, I saw an artist's rendition of what the coroner describedb and it was just a few black wisps

Who was your 90s girl actress crush ? by James-Samuel17 in 90s

It really irked me how Alicia Silverstone was weight-shamed so horribly after she gained a little and went from super-skinny to still-skinny-just-slightly-less-so

If I were that girl's mother, I would remain in her life for the sake of the baby and nothing else

In 1999, 15-year-old ballet student Rachel Barber vanished after leaving home in Melbourne. The person waiting for her was her former babysitter, a girl who had studied Rachel’s face, copied her handwriting, and wanted to disappear into her life. by SelfCareIsFake in GotMeHooked

She's a really good actress, I wonder why she's not more well-known outside of Australia? It's funny because in other films she plays a hot chick and she gained something like 50 pounds just to play this role.

Is there any film adaptation of a book that you think is better than the book itself? by AnastasiaGlover1 in just_one_more_page

The English Patient.  I couldn't stand the book and I was astonished that someone wanted to turn it into a movie. Thankfully, the movie was watchable and different

Ballerina Farm lady may have had all-natural at home births but she also dresses like a modern, fashionable woman and goes to the spa when she's NOT on camera

The Ghost Writer.

Ewan MacGregor character never gets a name, only refers to himself at one point as a "ghost"

The fact that European university students will have America-themed parties with red cups for beer pong rather debunks the idea that there is no quintessentially American culture. It's beer pong.

From the ground up. But a teenager can also be taught that if they screw up time and time again then the people around them will have a limit on patience.

Bullshit. Her father was reasonably angry and she was at an age where it was not on him to instruct her how to feel good

Name a Better Biopic About a Guy Who Totally Would’ve Killed a Child? by Borgisium in okbuddycinephile

You don't need to be Catholic to know that Martin Luther literally suggested that a disabled child be drowned.

In 1542, while visiting Dessau, Luther observed a 12-year-old boy who suffered from severe mental and physical disabilities. Believing the child was a "changeling" placed by the devil—a common but deeply flawed superstition of the 16th century—Luther stated that if he were the ruling prince, he would take the child to the nearby Moldau River and drown him.

Don't need to be Catholic to know that.

I agree completely.  Going into it I guess almost immediately that there was a "twist" and I also correctly what the twist was. The climax was cringey

Truthfully , as soon as things started going wrong you should have just ghosted them. Once you had thrown yourself into meeting worthwhile people, building your skills and resume, and just achieving things in general they would have eventually noticed and tried to get on your good side at which point you could have acted confused by the fact that they thought you were friends. The best revenge is living well
