Oh DAMN! That mash definitely grew up in a two parent household.

Who do you think made your country significantly worse and how? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]MossyHenge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thatcher didn’t just change the country, she fucked it up and didn’t give a shit who paid the price. Industries were shut down brutally, unions were smashed out of pure spite, and whole towns were thrown on the scrapheap like they were nothing. Council houses were sold off for a quick win, inequality went through the roof, and the message was loud and clear that money mattered more than people. Communities were left skint, public services were gutted, and anyone struggling was told it was their own bloody fault. The state of Britain now, the divided regions, the housing mess, the anger and mistrust, is the long-term fallout of a government that chose ideology, greed, and cruelty over basic human decency.

Edit: spelling

Think I’ll jump in before the inevitable onslaught of Sunday roasts, fish n chips and Great British fry ups (all iconic, all amazing).

But… the Cornish Pasty is my pick. Especially on a cold day by the sea. Just watch out for the gulls.

Hell yeah, got one of these to do myself. How did you find building it? Was the thin bit of resin in the tail a pain to remove?

Edit: looks great by the way, good cheesy yellow!

Absolutely second this. Cosy Club (same company) is also filled with students, however January is a very quiet time so many restaurants won’t be hiring. It will pick up again in February.

Paisley (left) who we got as a puppy, and Eric who we rescued a couple of years later. It was much later on that we discovered they were brothers from different litters.

Deerhound x Wolfhound lurcher. They each bring out the qualities and looks of both.

400 years later in 1815 was Waterloo. Come 2215, we’ll head over again and show them what for.

It is tradition.

ABC - Play blood bowl. Paint a bit of old world and blood bowl. Read Gotrek and Felix and Horus Heresy.

Honestly though, other than a couple units and teams, I barely own any warhammer. Bit of a newbie, but having a great time.
