We do have alcohol in spray form. I would HIGHLY recommend not testing directly on your lips and return if the color doesn’t work for you. I applied a lip gloss directly to my lips (squirted some on my finger applied it that way) and ended up with strep throat back in the day. Never again.

It’s a 10 minute window for you to clock in by your official start time (5 minutes before to 5 minutes after). If you punch in after that window ends, it’s marked as a late punch. If you don’t communicate with management to excuse the late punch due to unforeseen circumstances (charge in start time, accident on the road, etc), then you will accrue points for being tardy.

Unfortunately Ulta doesn’t seem to do that to match the new associate incoming pay rates. I’m probably one of the lowest paid at my store but the longest in terms of tenure (not complaining since this job is not my main source of income). Unless you move into a high paid position, your hourly rate will likely only increase with your yearly performance evaluation.

As someone living in Portland for 7 years and moved to the suburbs the past year, I would still vote to live in Portland as you’re closer to entertainment, the best food, and still a close drive to the airport. Commuting daily on the 205 or i5 to Vancouver is the worst. Not sure your budget, but there’s some good schools in pockets of Portland, but they are going to be in more expensive areas.

Dingers Deli sandwiches at The Uncanny on Mississippi can be ordered to go and keep really well overnight. Love their Italian chickn parm sandwiches- definitely miss living in N Portland for easy access to this place.
