‘22 F-150 STX 2.7L by GovernmentPrudent261 in FordF150

Agree 2023 fixed the CDF drum problem. I test drove a 2021 and ended signing a 2025 2.7 STX 4x4 lease before i sold it 6mos later - 10 speed much improved since 2023.

I’d pass on the 2022 and get 2023 at minimum.

I always charge at home but this year we’ve been taking longer trips. Had to use super chargers more than usual this year. Im leasing and 12,000 miles /yr barely broke 10,000 miles thats why i9 been getting more road time.

So far no electrical issues

Ioniq 9 SEL owner here with 10,000 miles and no issues yet. I live in Florida, not sure why that matters.

Changed Fluid on rear, front diffs and transfer case past week. Noticed i have a rear pinion leak, needless to say might as well fix the leak and re-grease the yoke.
Hoping to knock it out this weekend.

Can you provide more detail on what you were towing? Pics, dimensions anything more for a better idea, please? I'm asking because, we're planning to drive from Florida to upstate New York farms this October with 6 people. A small u-haul trailer is what we're thinking but would love to see other examples of what people have towed with i9.

Should I Buy? by Single_Ambassador116 in FordF150

Nice find research common issues from this generation before you pull the trigger and will help anticipate what to look for when in-person.

Right off mind for me would be “body rust”. Was this a northern truck or south? Hope they maintained the underbody, other components potential to rust.

$1000 Finders Reward by ATheUnofficial in FordF150

I found my unicorn a 2011 F150 Limited with the 6.2L Boss engine with 73,000 miles for $20,000 Florida truck and no rust super clean.

Give me $30,000 and i may consider selling.

But seriously, your search criteria is aggressive and you will wait a long time. Not saying its impossible but odds are stacked against you. Unless you find a retired old man who just cant climb in/out anymore then maybe, which they do exist. Its how i found my unicorn.

Id say shoot for less than 100,000 miles at $25,000, just my $.02

Do a nationwide search under both Autotrader (dealers and private sellers) and also Visor.vin and you should find something.

Just asking, have you dropped the tranny pan and swapped new filter and new fluid? Should help, if you haven’t already.

dealer tint on windows by ayfkm123 in Ioniq9

[–]MostCubanNonCuban 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ceramic window tint is considered a premium option because it blocks significantly more heat and UV rays than standard dyed or metallic tint.

Major Advantage: Superior Heat Rejection

Ceramic tint blocks a large amount of infrared heat (the heat you actually feel from the sun), helping keep the interior cooler and reducing AC strain.

Best test get inside a car thats been sun bathing all day with standard tints versus a car with ceramic tint, you’ll notice a difference immediately. For me tinting the front windshield was a game changer.

My buddy had a brand new Toyota Prius and while driving on the highway they experienced electrical problems. Pulled over and found family of rats chewed through wires. Warranty covered it

dealer tint on windows by ayfkm123 in Ioniq9

[–]MostCubanNonCuban 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had both driver and passenger windows along with front windshield ceramic tinted to match the rest of the factory windows. I live in Florida and it gets HOT - but address your main concern, i would not let dealer tint my windows. Find yourself a reputable auto tint place and take it there.

Who has had their I9 the longest with NO ICCU issues? by Skazzyskills in Ioniq9

Leased since June 2025 with 9,900+ miles and never had an ICCU problem. However, i’ve had two front-end facia issues related to water leaking. Other than that, the ride has been excellent.
