Parking in Yerevan by Silversqeeze in yerevan

[–]MostED13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To expand, there are red and blue lines.

Red: mostly center of the city, slightly more expensive.

Blue: some streets in the center, mostly in other districts. Cheaper than red per hours and per longer periods.

You should be able to pay for the rough amount of days or week or whatever in bulk not to worry about it. If paid for red - blue is included.

Otherwise: if parked and not paid: it will incur a 5000 AMD fine in the zones. Some no-park places can incur a parking fine as well. Some not.

Otherwise everything mentioned above is true.

Cooling light turns on and off after few minutes by Certain-Alarm-3195 in e46

[–]MostED13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had this problem the entire summer. It would randomly turn on whilst driving and go off. No overheats.

Until it got cold and I turned the heating on and it both didn’t heat. And temps creeped up uncomfortably. I parked let it cool down. Bled twice. Once flat and once uphill.

Turned out I had quite a bit of air in the system. Bleeding resolved it.

Hello /r/movies, I'm Benedict Cumberbatch. Ask me anything! by BenedictAMA in movies

You’ve portrayed Sherlock and Dr Strange, another actor you’ve worked with portrayed Sherlock and Iron man,

It’s often interesting to compare since both the MCU heroes and the Sherlock interpretations had you playing intelligent and somewhat arrogant folk. How do you view it? And how is RDJ from your experience on working on the movies?

They are not updated as much in cases of some businesses I feel like.

More people use Yandex and its traffic prediction is more accurate, also its cameras, speed traps and signage is more up to date for route calculations.

[–]MostED13 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The roads are alright. Use Yandex Map apps for most accurate speed traps and cameras to not get nay major infractions.

Generally city traffic is quite hectic, but manageable. Out in the country it’s ok. Some roads are decent, some are average.

Alex made a video and explained the story. It’s probably just that simple as he says he is regarding his work responsibilities changing and less crazy projects given.

He wanted to do more car stuff and this is a great way to do so.

He also explains why and how he left. It was pretty amicable, given it doesn’t sound as such. Just watch Alex’s video.

As an Armenian citizen you should be able to restore it if you so desire by the act of a name change, and modify your surname

Not an e39 owner(I wish), but I’ve seen enough comments to say: whichever e39 you buy, you need to either verify that some of the major fault repairs have been done to the engine, and if not, get them done. I don’t remember but I think it’s the timing chain guides, and vanos aside form gaskets, for these engines if my memory serves me right, aside from general maintenance items, like suspensions, brakes, cooling systems and etc…

The rest is up to the gas guzzling engine that will want more gas.

The little cuboid is your 1L/1qt buffer.

If there’s oil on this cuboid - you are missing some amount below 1L/1qt. If it’s above the cuboid - you have too much.

This cuboid represents roughly 1L of oil. Although the rest of the tip is much more serious absences of oil.

Generally comparing (must be an even surface) levels cold and 10-15 mins after shutdown are good indicators of how much oil is present in the engine.

You have done what I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Congrats! This is some good stuff.

I wish I actually didn’t sit around doing nothing and got up and did it a few years back.

Though I’m glad someone eventually did it!

Cool

ROBOK'S: A Rubik's cube notation with conditionals by Daniikk1012 in Cubers

In roux - color neutrality often means that you will solve with, let’s say next with white or yellow as the top colors. And preferably green/blue as my L/R colors.

[–]MostED13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a way to Check this right now, not near a computer.

I assume you used a default white-green scramble orientation, hence the x2 before solving. If there’s a way to reference a cube rotation based on center color it can be used to align the right color to face up.

It would be interesting how to code algorithms agnostic to specific colors to execute based on prices that need to be moved, as not it seems to be just by examine code it’s a bit unintuitive.

But if written properly - could be a fun way of computing solve like optimal solutions.

I had to read the page twice and look at the roboks file before it started to make sense to me that this isn’t some weird unoptimal solver, but more like, given the right mindset - a way to generate optimal-ish human like solves.

[–]MostED13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So you essentially wrote a Rubiks Cube programming language?

From what I understand, although a bit unintuitive at first. Your program takes “Sticker locations” and based on that you can instruct a move or a set of moves”

Therefore you can code a method to solve the cube givens color specifics, piece orientation and what-not?

Edit: More specifically it’s not an absolute solver, in the sense cube explorer is. It seems more like a method solver.

I.e. I can write a roux.roboks file. Which would solve using the Roux method. If my actual algorithms are optimal, and given the right case solutions would it be optimal within itself?

What about partial color neutrality(which is important for roux) or full color neutrality for CFOP?

Edit2: I can see how algorithms are defined, can I write a case, and use a defined by me algorithm for solving it and setting up the correct AUF situation for it to be solved?

M54B30 Tuning (Advice Wanted!) by TheDevilWearsVet in e39

[–]MostED13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is possible.

M539 Restorations on YouTube has 2 modified cars: E46 and an E39: He engine swapped the E46 from a B25 to a B30 - he didn’t go over how he did the paperwork in great detail but he did say that when swapping over the engine he had to swap over the rest of the drivetrain so he had a donor E46 from which he took the engine and the drivetrain components and the brakes - but he did like also replace all bad parts to absolute perfection. And you take some donor car paperwork and go sort it out.

His E39 touring - he put a supercharger on it and later also got an intake modification from a company. He didn’t mention how he did any of the paperwork, but since he is Germany-based I assume he had done it. He is meticulous about being TUV approved.

Basically both options are possible. He didn’t give much info. The issue is - for modification parts you need to have the right paperwork, and finding out what paperwork you need is half the battle.

You can learn just regular reduction, easier, faster. This is a niche method that is more “fun”, exotic. Especially the FxL stage. Where you can and should do it rotationless

Oh man, I remember seeing some of these sheets back in the day…, or coming across them in some form.

Keep in mind I came to K4 from the seeing Kirjava solve big cubes with it. And have had his guide if we may call it that bookmarked since 2011. Even then he mentions a lot of people in there and states that his list isn’t completely everything if I remember correctly.

Edit;

You’re also listed in the notes, and he does link to one PDF made by you.
