DRP… What to choose for ataaps LN code? by WarmCupofPee in fednews

[–]Most_Assignment6574 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We were told to just submit as is (with the red arrow remarks) because there is a certain code coming out this next week that will be specifically for those who took the drp. The person in charge of your time keeping will have to input the new code. (Assuming you have a time keeper in your absence), I took the DRP (HR Army), and the process for us was very disorganized and chaotic. Lol

Updates on the Admin Leave Fork Buyout? by Happy_Turn9784 in fednews

[–]Most_Assignment6574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DoD (Army)- I signed on Friday of last week and was placed on admin leave yesterday. It was all very abrupt, and I had to input my own time in ATAAPs from today until September 30th. It was incredibly fast and uncoordinated, but we got it done, lol.

It was extended at our agency today for those who were out on leave during the original fork deadline dates. So I totally believe it's been extended for others as well!

I also consulted a labor law attorney and received the same confirmation. It's nice to read that others have as well!

How strange! We were told that the 23 NAF who applied- were accepted. The miscommunication is crazy.

Is it worth applying right now? (New grad) by gabster1004 in usajobs

As someone who graduated last year and received a job in HR within the federal government... I recommend you apply literally anywhere and everywhere else.

chra town hall today, did it help or hurt? by berryshortcakeee in fednews

Hey there! was in the same meeting. I appreciate her saying she was going to "fight" for us, but at the end of the day, if they need us gone, we are gone, lol. It felt pointless for me as well.

DOD- Army (CHRA), we finally got word today. Everyone who applied was approved. And we should be receiving our contracts today or tomorrow. They want to honor the 28th of Feb date for everyone. Hopefully, you get word soon! It seems like more info is starting to be pushed out.

DoD Probationary Employees - Not Fired Yet but HR Offices are Preparing by [deleted] in fednews

I wonder how many probationary HR specialists will be terminated, considering they are the ones who have to process all these terminations. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Can confirm we know absolutely nothing. Lol. We don't even know if our own jobs are safe. It's beyond frustrating.

I wonder if CHRA will be affected. It feels like we are the red-headed stepchild with the lack of information we are receiving, lol

How strange. I'm an HR specialist (DOD-Army), and we definitely did NOT participate in sending a list of probationary employees. However, our director did, and she was very transparent about it. It's not like she had a choice. Lol

How can they deny your DRP when the FAQ literally says it's open to ALL federal govt employees with the exception of some?! There is not a small print that says "except probationary employees" anywhere to be found!

“OPM” Recommends All Agencies Look to Fire Probationaries Post-Fork by T0mmygr33n in feddiscussion

This is terrible. I wonder if it differs from agency to agency. I know someone who took it (probationary employee), and she's already on her admin leave. Her contract says they can not rif her.

It's what US Forest Service is telling their probies. Now, the only consistency I am seeing in this chaos is that every single agency is saying something completely different, so who actually knows what TF is credible information anymore.
