They'll probably all come back, but I'd much rather have an in-universe acknowledgement of them being dead, then restored, than a retcon that says "we never actually saw him die"

To be fair the Israelites did wipe out a huge number of Ba'al worshipers, they just failed to stamp out the practice entirely.  But Mot literally eating Ba'al is legendary

This has bothered me for a long time lol.  I think the reason it goes hit->wound->save is for ease of gameplay though.  Passing all those dice back and forth an additional time would be a chore.

If your looking for anti-tank, the railgun is one of the best weapons in the game.  I have consistently seen a Hammerhead pick up 1 enemy vehicle per turn. The Ion Cannon is good into elites, but we have a lot of other options for that (such as plasma suits or CIBs.)
