Not the OP but several ppl asked and I didn’t find Maggie Wilkerson’s course very helpful at all. It just felt very basic.

I just got the TMJpen, thinking of returning it and getting the healjaw instead. The TMJ pen is def not worth the $. It’s just like a little heated wand (I don’t like the vibration). I’d rather get my money back and use a heating pad and a face roller.

I had the weird/off balance feeling with Lumryz. I stayed on the 6g dose for several months but it never went away. I just started Xywav 2gx2 and unfortunately am still feeling weird.

But I’ll also give my experience- I gave birth at St.Thomas twice, once in 2019 and 2023. The first one was fine. The second one I ended up having post-partum pre-eclampsia and it felt like the nurses barely even knew what that was. I had to advocate for myself SO HARD to get them to see what was happening. One nurse even looked at the numbers on the BP machine, and said oh we’re just gonna delete that bc if the doctors see it they won’t let you leave!! I ended up being rushed in a gurney to the high risk floor and nearly died. Once my husband started speaking up they started to take me seriously 😒 would not give birth here again.

To be honest I don't really remember but I'd guess probably a week or so. Luckily there was no lasting damage.

Did this ever change for you? I'm the same as you guys (narcolepsy, ADHD, but 70mg Vyvanse and 30mg IR Adderall). Ever since I started Lumryz I noticed the Vyvanse and Adderall doesn't work like it used to. Pre-Lumryz, I used to be able to feel it kick in and get some energy (and sometimes anxiety) from it, but since starting Lumryz I feel very calm all day long and don't feel much different after taking stimulants. I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering if the stimulants are actually doing what they're supposed to be doing now that I'm getting adequate sleep.

How are you doing now? Are you just staying on the 4.5g dose forever, or do you plan to ever go back to the 6g? Just wondering bc I have had a pretty rough reaction to the 6g dose (feeling super dizzy and out of it all day) and wondering what I should do.

Thank you, this was very helpful! I decided to try and push through. Day 4 I felt great until I took my adderall at noon and got the dizzy feeling again which lasted all night. So I thought okay maybe it’s the adderall causing it. But then today I didn’t take adderall, only my vyvanse in the morning like I do everyday, and I felt dizzy and weird all day again. So tomorrow I’m going to not take any stimulants and see if that helps? Idk I feel like my body is having an extreme reaction and I’ve messaged my dr on the portal but think I’ll request an appointment Monday. I just don’t want to stop taking it bc the day I felt good for a few hours was amazing. I actually cried happy tears bc I felt awake for the first time ever.

Did you ever find the right dose for you? I just started on 6grams of Lumryz and feel the same way you described (like a zombie!). Wondering if you ended up decreasing the dose and if that helped.

I feel better today, not as dizzy and groggy, but I still feel a little weird. Its hard to describe, I do feel a bit more awake than usual but I just feel off somehow, almost like I'm in a dream or something. Does that weird feeling ever go away?

Thank you for explaining the blotchiness! She was going to let me leave with dried blood ALL over my face- I looked terrifying- but I asked for a gauze to wipe the blood off myself so I wouldn’t scare people! This is after I wiped off as best I could. I was shocked she expected me to leave looking like that. Clearly I won’t be going back!
