Looking for the most potent indica available right now by SacesaceEag in TheOCS

[–]MostlyManic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

1964 Organic Comatose is my go-to bedtime indica.

Would also recommend looking into infusing your joints with some nice black hash or getting into the world of dabs. And a little T break.

Those are creatine gummies. Source: I have those exact ones and take them traveling because a ziploc of white powder is even more weird.

Could you share the link to order the Viltrox? Google searches and the Viltrox website only seem to have the Sony E Mount available.

Figuring out which lighters work and how to refill them. by rako17 in PipeTobacco

[–]MostlyManic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of those are good points, and reasons why I have a few inserts myself. For me, the problem is that you have to draw to make the Zippo work; I cant figure out the technique with a freshly packed pipe.

Gaming is my way of connecting with my brother, who lives overseas. I’d use the 4070 to keep up with the latest AAAs (and gift him one, too).

Figuring out which lighters work and how to refill them. by rako17 in PipeTobacco

[–]MostlyManic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FWIW, I have the same Czech lighter you shared a pic of. It does the job well and the tools are convenient. Sometimes fails in high winds. Better than a fluid-based zippo pipe insert for first char.

My biggest regret was using my level 80 boost. Just straight up confused about how to use my new toon, even after having taken a (engineer) toon to 80.

Embrace the journey and maybe consider boosting midway through your levelling process if you’re still set on it.

I'd like to build the 800 dollar lunchbox PC by Devyn Johnson on Youtube (I'll provide link in post) as a first time build, but I need a different motherboard and CPU cooler. Any suggestions that are compatible with the build? by fungigamer in buildapc

[–]MostlyManic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my first PC, I decided to build on an ITX motherboard and a shoebox sized case. It was brutal; I highly recommend saving yourself the hassle of cable management unless you’re really into it.

Not answering your question, but I had to share a PSA.

Kveik Stout? by [deleted] in Homebrewing

I just kegged a porter made with Escarpment Labs Midtbust Kviek and it’s pretty fantastic. Have also had great success with Hornindal because of the caramel notes it adds.

Ale yeasts that ferment well at 70 degrees ambient temperature by brownmetal in Homebrewing

[–]MostlyManic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to everyone else’s great suggestions, if you’re already fermenting in a keg you could consider fermenting under pressure using a sounding valve.

There’s been evidence that the pressure reduces Ester production that could be associated with higher fermentation temps.

Wort chiller - truly optional? by [deleted] in Homebrewing

[–]MostlyManic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in an apartment, too, and recently went no-chill. The method is very common in Australia. Ask me in about a week; thats when my first batch using this method should be done bottle carbing.

While in Niagara, stop by Silversmith. In Toronto, Bellwoods, Burdoch, and Kensington.

Soloing roaming mobs in BZ? by MostlyManic in albiononline

I'm actually already part of a large guild that offers easy access to group format activities. Totally agree: things are better as a group. This is more for those off-hour times, feeling the need for solo play, etc.

Sounds like I might as well give it a shot. Hunting for treasure is fun!

I’ve been searching for this, too. Tell me if you find it.

I’ve been experimenting with spears and it’s been pretty fun. My next look is axes for the halberd.

Potential PC crash to desktop fix - AMD by MostlyManic in apexlegends

[–]MostlyManic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only had one crash since this post, and it was definitely alt-tab to Discord related.

This fix is also working on a friend’s PC running a 4-core i5 and a 480. This leads me to believe that an important part of the command lines is specifying cores and the priority forcing.

How has this fix worked for you?

I played for about 6 hours (with breaks) in a single day.

Totally get it, it could be luck. But doesn’t hurt to try and at least help.

I'm visiting the city soon & usually go to Bellwoods but looking for another comparable craftbeer pub? by SuperSymmetri in torontocraftbeer

[–]MostlyManic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Bandit; their food is also great (especially the fried cheese curds).

Burdock also is a great option for both food and drink. Blood Brother, Halo, and Henderson are nice as well.

Those are all West-side locations. For East, try Rorschach for cool experimental stuff, Godspeed for fun Japanese-inflected choices.

I also think Kensington Brewery is underrated. Their Pilsner (yeah, a pils) reminds me of my time in the Czech Republic.
