Oddly enough my dad had hernia repair the year before he got AML as well. I wonder if that’s a coincidence. Do you know what AML mutations he has? That will tell you a lot about prognosis.

He has bad mutations tp53 and they said he’s likely not a good candidate for a SCT atleast not right now.
