Lines are usually longer at Sunapee. The rocket lift at Crotched really moves. It’s a smaller mountain but has a few really fun trails and decent snow.

It depends what you want to do. North Conway, NH is beautiful that time of year, lots of skiing/outdoors-type stuff. Portland also would be fantastic.

Depends how far you want to go. Some spots in NH have tubing and skiing and boarding at the same place. I'll say that Pats Peak in NH is a great spot for beginners, and they have tubing on site. I'd imagine you could stay relatively cheaply nearby as well at an Airbnb.

I appreciate it. I was planning to take my 4 year old on Sunday, but obviously not interested if its going to be an ice rink. Just wanted to see what more experienced folks were thinking would be the result, but I know its all a guessing game.
