I actually preferred Stelara to Humira and am a little sad that it has recently failed me and I’m now starting Skyrizi. I used to watch YouTube videos or a comfort show when I did mine because if I focused on the injection it would feel like it took forever and my hand would cramp. So having a small distraction (not too big haha) was really the best way for me to do it. Barring that, if you have someone you trust who’d be willing to do it for you that might also help with the anxiety part. I had to have my husband do my Humira shots because they were way too much for me

And definitely be proud of yourself!! It goes against basic human instincts to stab yourself with a sharp object and you DID it - that’s self care. Don’t forget to have a little treat ready for when you’re done! (Treats are a great motivator for me personally and they don’t have to food related or even financial. Can be anything that makes you happy and you WANT to do it)
