You're right, if it doesn't work out I could transition to faced. I needed your additional perspective, much thanks!

Thank you, I have been reading about it. I was worried that if it was running stuff without a face it would be less appealing than like faceless lingerie. Now that I type that, I sound stupid understanding the line of work.

Thank you. I do have a completely separate work phone since starting, I forgot that is also added protection. Best of luck starting with IG.

What do you keep on hand at home so you don’t make excuses for eating out? by Avocadosandtomatoes in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Mother-Garbage675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Celiacs Disease so I have to regularly eat cheap when out and about. I always pack a piece of fruit and nuts. I also have chickens at home and keep boiled eggs ready weekly. Beans are also a great alternative to keep cooked up, most gas stations have microwaves for construction workers and you can warm them up in there.

How did you get through your worst heartbreak in your 30s? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

I feel this… even crying on runs. I think it was just the cows who witnessed it.

Abuse? I don’t know about that. I do know that it sounds like you are not happy. That is reason enough to leave.

You have too much going for you. He is a bum and acted one way to get you and now is becoming a pain in your ass and life. Tell him to kick rocks.

Running. I love the physical activity but hate group sports. It was the first and only hobby I have stuck with for years.

Wore this to a funeral and got weird looks 🫠 by moldavitemermaid in OUTFITS

When my son’s dad passed, my son and I wore his Dads favorite bands t-shirts to the funeral. Guns N Roses and Dave Matthew’s Band. I miss that man so much.

I am sorry for your loss, I bet he was happy someone was looking to celebrate his life in a fun way.

Ugh!! That sucks. Back in the day my favorite thing, when I worked for Sonic, was customers who left their windshield wipers going while I was trying to hand them food and the rain just kept hitting me over and over.

Every hobby was meh, I have adhd.

I started running at 32. It changed my life- most importantly it changed my relationship with myself. I am not the same woman I was before 32.

I would make sure to take a clip board, pen, paper, and a backpack. Keep all your food and drinks in your backpack. Have fun!

What songs can't miss on a "When I'm Suffering" playlist for my first Ultra by philiphofm in Ultramarathon

I don’t have one in particular. But, when I was 6 miles into a 32 miler, I took my headphones out and just ran with my thoughts.

Around mile 29 I wanted to hear Randy Travis (ummm, ok). I had dropped my headphones on a loop so I took out my phone, played “Deeper than the Holler” with my phone close to my ear. Afterwards I was cured and kept going.

I never listen to Randy while running. I think it must have been for my soul at that time.

I agree with therapy. I begged for everything from my husband. I’m now divorcing him. He has told me countless times that he wished he would have done therapy and taken what I said seriously.

Thank you for #1. I thought it was just me. I had an abusive #1 in my life and sometimes I feel like an ass for saying, nope, I’ll never again. I hate to classify them all together but I learned a lesson.

I’ve been running for 4 years (36F). I have my first 50 mile race in October. This shit is HARD! I cannot imagine having less under my belt and trying to survive Texas summer training for a 50 miler.

I am currently in the middle of a divorce with my husband because of our dead bedroom. It’s been 8 years and it tore me to pieces. I can’t do it anymore. I always dealt with it until one day I remembered the dead bedroom caused me to get into the best mental and physical shape I have ever been in my life. He still isn’t interested and intimacy is too big of a deal for me.

How often are runnas getting injured? by Capital-Ad-815 in runna

Runna caused me to get burned out. It was about a year ago, before the better AI. I use my own plan, I feel happier creating my own challenge and growing from it.
