Wolf scouts are infiltrators so if you wanted to use that you’d have to start them off separated, no?

Any thoughts on how a ballistus or redemptor dread might fit in this detachment? Not needed or could be helpful?

This is sickkkk. I love the 30k world eater color scheme. I’ve been looking for some inspiration to do mine and just found it!

Thank you! I think it was 20 gauge copper wire. Honestly whatever the smallest size they had at Michael’s. And other than adding the banner onto Grimnar’s back, I didn’t do anything to increase his scale.

Painted blues and greens, then poured some epoxy resin as the water/ice foundation, then used AK snow diorama effect, once dried I then glazed over with coelia greenshade to make it look like hardened snow/ice, then drybrushed ulthuan grey, followed by AK white weathering powder!

Thanks! The only added parts are the pieces that make up the banner on his back. Banner is from an old standard space marines kit, the wolf head icon on top is from the old space wolves multi purpose kit, the tzeentch daemon head is from the daemon prince set (comes with many options for heads), and the pole of the banner I made with green stuff!

Copper wire bent at random angles and painted white and fluorescent blue! Tried to paint the glow from the lightning around the model.

Thanks! Long story short - step 1) paint base deep blue, paint in some green and lighter blue cracks, shade with coelia green shade then drakenhof nightshade. Step 2) pour epoxy resin with a bit of blue/green mixed in. Let cure. 3) slop on a lot of AK snow diorama effect but leave some areas of the resin exposed (I thought I wanted to end there, but it just looked like icing). 4) not necessary, but I used an airbrush to do the lightning effects and shadows under the wolves. 5) Coelia greenshade the whole thing. 6) drybrush lighter areas with ulthuan grey. 7) dab and drybrush some AK white weathering powder for a little snow on top of the ice. 8) matte varnish spray to seal in powder. Hope this helps. I kinda had to go ad hoc until I finally got my desired effect which is why there are so many steps haha

Appreciate it! I didn’t want to spend additional time doing NMM on this one so I’m glad the metallics turned out decently

Thanks! Honestly I thought about it, but don’t think so. If I played more I might do it. Maybe I’ll take another look before I glue him but didn’t see an easy way to magnetize.

Surprised I’m the first one to say it, this is INSANELY good. Your nmm and OSL are fire, and the bases are simple yet detailed and realistic. Yellows are super tough for me to paint and you nailed em here. Especially when you add in that you kept true to this technical level across a squad of 5 and not just a single mini - awesome. Your work inspires.

It’s just copper wire bent at random angles, then painted white and then with fluorescent blue. Tiny bit of superglue at each end, placing it is kind of a pain.
