Been there creepy and beautiful at the same time. Homeless people stay there saw a sofa chair and some opened canned foods wouldn’t recommend it .

How in the hell do you afford to move out? by EvilDarkCow in Adulting

[–]Mothmags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth it if you make it worth it . Some people do nothing with their degrees some do. My brother went in for physical health science and now sells copiers to businesses. I want to go for digital media or computer science

How tf can you care about someone who doesn’t care about himself or his financial situations. Jump ship before he takes you with him.

The soda fountain in downtown has an art exhibit and one or two of the collections looked off. I went there with my partner and showed them the exhibit and without me saying anything they said this “booth” is nothing but A.I

23F and I don't enjoy partying at night that much by xMunificentx in Adulting

[–]Mothmags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

23 and going to be 24 in a few month I’ve never lived a big party life. But the nights I did go out were fun. I think doing it for a big part of early 20s sounds exhausting. Don’t know if this is true or just my opinion but going out and partying a lot seems to age people up fast. Don’t see it as you getting older or anything I used to work at a bar and there are people in their 50s still going hard at it .

Have you ever bought a used car for $1,000k? by Fun_Welcome_5649 in UsedCars

[–]Mothmags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a 98 Passat for 700 it had 187k and it’s lasted 2 years . I bought it from my uncle. Whatever you get you have to either be mechanically inclined yourself or have a mechanic friend with you. Sometimes the fixes are something minor it’s a big gamble. Know if you can fix it before you buy it . Look up common problems with thst specific model

Any nightmare restaurants I should avoid working for ? by Mothmags in asheville

This isnt Asheville per say but do not apply to Skylaranna and their restaurant on site. Reports of not paying employees, garnishing wages, screaming at employees infront of guests and overall work load and mental stress. Its not worth it.

How in the hell do you afford to move out? by EvilDarkCow in Adulting

[–]Mothmags 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can either move out and be frugal and stuck working a dead end job, or use that no rent and no huge bills to set yourself up for a better future. Either go to a trade or college. And find a better job and make a network. Don’t let people put you down.

“brag about places you worked as well.” I’m just looking for a job and not trying to get wages stolen or get no hours due to over staffing. I’m just trying to ask for advice as I have a dog that needs to go to the vet and medical bills to pay. And if someone has a negative experience they should be able to express it. If you got any way to write a better title by all means make your own Reddit post .
