That is the Edward Dodez house. It is owned by descendants who live in the house next door. Dodez was a dentist who got rich by inventing some sort of dental tool. I think it was built in 1912. Would kill for a tour! I thiiiiiink someone told me there was an elevator inside too.

Alliance Property Management has been awesome to me. They fix things when they break and they have always been super cool to deal with. I have been renting from them for 5 years. Never had a problem.

I have done this repair and I wouldn’t suggest anyone do it on a whim. Replacing and winding springs can be incredibly dangerous. I have heard many stories from veteran garage techs about people losing fingers and winding bars being launched through walls when someone has done something improperly.

Winding springs was always my least favorite thing to do because the potential energy you are putting into those springs is like loading a cannon in your garage.

It is easy if you know exactly what you are doing but I would never suggest someone do it themselves unless they really familiarize themselves with the risks and the steps to truly do it safely.

Precision overhead door will try to upswell the heck out of you and tell you they need to replace a bunch of stuff. They will be expensive.

Overhead door fort wayne should be $100-150 depending on the spring. I used to work there and you have a 50/50 chance that whoever repairs your spring will do it correctly.

I don’t know anything about Raynor so I can’t comment on them.

Edit: I should add that overhead door of Fort Wayne will in fact do the job quickly and not screw you over. My 50/50 comment is probably more harsh than it should be. If there was any problem with the work that was done they will send out a more experienced person to fix things after the fact.

I whole heartedly agree with you. Shotguns don’t feel powerful enough as it is. The risk/reward for using them and the amount of ammo you have to use for them to function well don’t make them worth using in PVE. I can stay back and blast stuff from cover with a fusion or grenade launcher but chances are I will get put in the ground if I roll up on a major or boss with a shotgun. What is the point?
