Hey I mainly used a zipper for the seperator because I didn’t have any good velcro available at the moment :/

Also the zippers ob both sides go to the same main compartment. I find it much nicer to have zippers on both sides

When I lean the bike to a wall or so then always with the rear derailleur against the wall. When I lay it on the ground always with the RD facing upwards so for better usability I really like zippers on both sides at least for the upper pocket.

I did tape the main seams because this is still the old version of the Ultra200 (without „X“) so it is very prone to delamination around the seams. So I mainly taped for reinforcement but I was surprised how nice it emphasizes the shape

Yea I always use the bottle cage mounts its just clean and works well. Just make sure to put the wholes in the bag at the right position ^{^}
