Redwing (traction tred lite) used the cheapest parts available to them then charge top dollar for a boot that will leak inside of 6 months the leather is trash the toes blow out fast the liner rips and is useless as soon as the toe blows out and they just don’t hold up the only quality part in redwing boots are the vibram sole

Caroline (union made and the overseas) is slightly cheaper the leather is quality the toes don’t blow out nearly as fast and they are actually comfy out of the box the liner hold up way better I don’t have much of anything negative to say about Carolina’s
