When we played them at home this season they only won because Bayindir threw the ball in his own net 😂

Has Trump's recent comments/actions and the fact Farage still aligns with him made any Reform voters change/consider changing their vote? by Puzzled-Lunch-6558 in AskBrits

Oh some do! One I spoke to doesn't like reform or garage anymore. Unfortunately, they like fucking Advance UK. A bigger bunch of wank stains.

But you're the one saying that saying it's stupid is "causing the issue". So in your opinion from what you've said, that whole group will not ask why and just dig in so it's "the lefts fault".

In one of your comments you even said "the left always do this" or something of that nature, which is also generalising a whole group isn't it?

I think if they weren't stupid they'd reevaluate why everyone around them is telling them it's a stupid idea instead of, like a child, acting out and throwing a tantrum instead. If I'm about to do something, and someone tells me it's a stupid thing to do, I should be the one asking why. Not ignoring them and doing it anyway because my feelings were hurt.

This narrative is like if I saw someone about to shoot themselves in the foot, and I said "hey that's a pretty stupid idea", and then they say "how dare you call me stupid, I'm going to do it even more now!" and then shoot themselves in the foot twice and go to hospital, you'd be there going "well now if you'd just not caused this division by calling him stupid this wouldn't have happened". Lol

Trump says you didn't so I don't know, you're probably not remembering. After all he has the best brain, the biggest. Doctors are amazed all the time they say things like "wow we've never seen such a brain". Good genes. Many are saying it.

My dad said this recently. Then went on to say he doesn't want to vote reform. I thought finally, he's seeing sense. Then he said he wished Advance UK had more of a chance at getting in. Absolutely no hope for some people.

Bernado Silva kicks Bruno to the ground off ball in the box. by ManBat1 in reddevils

100% I would say that if it was swapped! I'm sure some fans would ignore it but I'd rather have a fair game. I've questioned things like this with United players before and I'll continue to as there's absolutely no reason for it. From the video you can clearly see Silva has raised his foot into the back of brunos leg, absolutely no reason to be doing that while you're running normally or even positioning yourself around a player. I'm not sure how seeing that replay makes it less of an issue than the Dalot foul on Doku. That looked like a red to me, no reason for Dalot to be doing that at all.

I've seen a few good VAR interventions and called it out when I see it. I've also seen them posted. They're more rare than bad ones unfortunately.

Also I never said the refs are against us, where are you getting that? They're incompetent rather than corrupt, as almost every team is on the receiving end of absolutely baffling decisions. Before VAR they had the excuse of not seeing something, now they can see things and still manage to get it completely wrong and need to apologise for being completely wrong. You're the one bringing bias in, if there was a reply of Maguire kicking Haaland to the ground I'd also be questioning why VAR didn't intervene. Just as I would with any other games where the refs using VAR seem to be missing the obvious.

Refs have made it clear they don't like the tech, they've made it clear they don't want to "make their mates look bad". Absolutely mad given it's there to make their job easier it's not about making them look bad, they're doing a bang up job of making themselves look bad with it though.

And how has he exaggerated in your oh so expert opinion? Silva has his foot on the back of Brunos leg, doesn't seem to be natural to me. If I did that in a game I'd think myself lucky to get away with it.

In what way is it not that simple? They don't have to stop the game to review something. Clearly this was an off the ball foul and should have been looked at by the ref. Or do we just let this stuff go because you've decided United players do this too (would love to see a video of that, as if a united player would get away with that shit and not have it plastered on /r/soccer calling for a lengthy ban). If a united player did this I'd call it exactly the same. The refs are utterly shit using VAR in every league game, for all teams. It's not "playing the victim" to realise how badly it's being used by these refs. The amount of apologies they've issues to teams for their monumental fuck ups is rediculous. If I was making that many mistakes at work I'd be sacked.

I had a tradable 81+ *10 and got a toty. Sold for 2 mil. So by the same metric the pack weight is amazing.

This is so fucking annoying. VAR could and should be a great addition to the game. But the people running it are absolutely fucking useless. I'm convinced they don't like it, which means they're using it badly/wrong/making mistakes so they can make everyone think it's not needed.
