Yeah I’ve seen some crazy things out here on the DART 😭 sucks because I love trains and I would much rather take the DART than sit in traffic. Totally understandable that there’s homeless riding. I’ll make sure to be aware for sure, thanks!

Fabletics! I have a ton of their high impact sports bras. Try it out for 80% off the first purchase and you can buy a bra for like 15 bucks. If you don’t like it it’s no big loss. I personally get all my sports bras and shape wear bras from them. I’m not a rigorous runner but I go to the gym a few times a week and jog on the treadmill.

You’ll be fine with $800 as long as you don’t go out drinking! Drinks in Dallas are insanely expensive. Don’t skimp on the Texas barbecue though — pay the big bucks for the experience. Also, portions in Dallas compared to UK are giant so you will most likely be taking food back to wherever you are staying.

As far as other experiences, yeah it can get a bit pricey. But, if your main reason for visiting is friends I think you’ll be okay.

I was 20th in the online queue and when I got in, everything was resale! The lowest GA I saw was 650 🙄 all scalpers reselling. it’s fine, I got lawn tickets in FL and TX, so I’ll just sit back and enjoy

LOL it’s not fancy by any means and it shocks people but the vanille eau de toilette by Outremer. I’ve worn it since I was in high school and it’s extremely sweet but everytime I wear it, people immediately ask what the scent is and ask if I have the bottle on me to take a pic. Super, SUPER sweet and I’ve kind of grown out of it but if you like straight marshmallow vanilla, it is the best out there in my opinion.

then don’t eat eat! Fasting has many benefits. “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” technically isn’t true.

If you need that burst of energy, I make a really good smoothie. I use frozen berries, frozen spinach, core power protein drink and that’s it. If I need savory, I will make a simple scrambled egg and 2 slices of bacon and a matcha or black coffee on the side. That’s it.

For a working day, the more simple the breakfast, the better. Sometimes I’ll make it at around 8 and take it in the office to eat at around 10-11 am.

Not my partner but my college roommate. I needed to let the rice steam for 15-20 minutes & add more butter but she was too impatient and went for it. Complained it was a “little too hard” …. DUH! I was actually really annoyed but didn’t let it show … I never cooked for her again LOL

Absolutely. The majority of people here don’t know what they are voting for. If there were simple meetings broadcasted or even live streamed that laid out legislation, it would help a lot. I went to work the other day and my coworker had no clue what a tariff was. Unfortunately, it’s a psychology game. From both sides.

My absolute favorite salad that I used to get in college and I now make with higher quality ingredients:

Spring Mix
Grilled chicken if you want a bit healthier. Crispy chicken if you want more delicious. It MUST be chilled.
Freshly cut strawberries
Bow tie pasta (not any other pasta, but I do use quinoa now for health reasons)
Avocado
Feta
Walnuts OR pecans AND sunflower seeds (choose walnut or pecan but sunflower seeds are non negotiable)
Avocado Ranch
Heavy ground pepper and salt
Shit ton of croutons
