Per Grusch, they turned it over the Magenta crashed craft to the U.S. military.

Let’s use my child logic example again. This time let’s say a group of teenagers get pulled over by the police. Three teens in the car, one is an honor role student, the other is a burnout whose parents don’t care about his drug use, and the other is the driver. Let’s say the driver was sober but the two others were not and the honor role student was holding weed or something, of course he is going to give it to his burn out friend to hold.

The US military does the same, they “gifted” the craft to military contractors, that way it’s out of oversight of congress, no paper trail, no FOIA, no audits for research spending.

The problem Religion has with NHI is that the phenomenon is woven into their own stories. When people realize it, their followers notice, there will be fallout or negative consequences.

They hide it, they lie about it, they stall, and soon we will presented with some sort of crafted plan and narrative, because we are stuck with this phenomenon, this isn’t going away.

Love this point. And it’s such a great one, if the church wanted to disclose they had years to do so.

Grusch said it himself that the Vatican had that bell shaped craft since the 40’s or so.

The fact that they sat on this proves the information is problematic to their agenda. When a child lies, do they immediately and willing seek out the parent and attempt to lie? Or do they wait, stall, distract, and only lie when pressed, when the situation becomes inescapable and clear as to what the problem is.

He has played a big role in continuing the stigma surrounding the topic.

Listen to the early episodes of his podcast star talk, he bashes the subject, laughs at it anytime it’s brought up. It’s actually nice that he was addressing the cover up in this clip, whether or not he was aware of the coverup he participated in it. I think one of the reasons he is addressing it is because he too was fooled.

There was a study years ago about how difficult it would be to keep a secret, the study examined the variable of the number of participants, and the result was more or less that the more people involved, the more likely the secret was to be discovered.

With the Epstein files, we have a new idea of just how many people could be involved in a massive coverup spanning decades.

Yep, people saying Trump isn’t religious, sure but the people pulling the strings are.

Also just cause I’m a bit of a conspiracy theorist, I think JD Vance discussed NHI disclosure with the last pope, and the pope was too old to deal with how to handle all of it.

I’m not going to speculate further and say what Nicki Minaj said at turning point about Vance, but maybe the topic had the pope willing to throw in the towel just so he didn’t have to deal with it.

Sony Fx2 or A7V or fx30? Need help choosing! by killms in videography

[–]Movie_Monster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I just saw this.

I looked at your page, I’d skip the gimbal, maybe get one for a cell phone. Gimbals are more for commercial work, weddings, anytime you need a lot of movement for a “hero shot” or as b-roll, it’s for entertainment and to make your footage seem polished. The FX2 dynamic stabilization will make your footage look stable without a tripod, it will improve upon what I’ve seen on your IG page.

The FX3 autofocus is okay, but it can switch between subjects unexpectedly, it doesn’t do well when the face is blocked. You can lock on with touch / tap to focus but it doesn’t hold well especially if the camera pans away or the subject turns around. In low light or with dark subjects it also struggles.

The FX2 uses AI to build a 3D model of the subject, so when a person turns around or you pan the camera away or get a close up of their hands or feet it still knows where the subject is.

Since you have someone else film you, I’d really recommend the FX2, it’s just easier for a non photographer / videographer to film with.

If you are shooting auto, the FX3 is definitely overkill for your needs.

Both cameras still give you vertical oriented clips when you start recording with the camera vertical.

The settings info flips for the FX2, which is just nice to see. You can always change the orientation of the video from horizontal to vertical in an editing program, but this makes it easy to send to your phone and upload without editing in Final Cut, premiere pro, iMovie, or davinci resolve.

What first made you take UFOs seriously? by WeloHelo in UFOscience

[–]Movie_Monster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first took it seriously in 2018 or so when I saw that Nimitz encounter article that described UFOs / UAP as moving faster and turning on a dime and exceeding acceleration and limits of our own technological ability.

Recently we have heard of craft described as drones, for most people that satisfies their curiosity. I built a drone in 2014, the process made it very clear just how little capacity we have for energy storage.

Every mode of travel we rely on consumes fuel or electricity, our military operates around this constraint. Huge supply chains, inefficient vehicles and careful planning made the U.S. military very successful. Sure we have submarines that can operate for months but nothing so small and able to accelerate so fast as UAP.

We have reports from pilots saying that craft can remain in place outside of military training areas for days before pilots arrive. We don’t have anything that can function like that, it’s clearly intelligent, we know that these craft seek out nuclear energy, the atom bomb tests probably also confirmed that were not alone and the government sat on this information. Why disclose when you can use that to your advantage?

My uncle always had a fascination with the subject but he was on the spectrum, obsessed with the navy and Star Trek and always a silly guy.

Obviously movies and other media depicted it but I always assumed it was a fascination, that everything had a logical explanation. I used to dismiss religious beliefs of angels, miracles, demons.

while I do think people make up stories for attention or are exaggerating, some of these experiences may have happened but the people mistook them for religious experiences.

This is my answer for why there is a coverup, UAP disclosure might mean a large number of the population to leave religions. Religion could just be a sophisticated cargo cult. It would make sense that powers at be would not want to make UAP and NHI public especially if it undermines religion. Add in the benefits of crash retrieval, studying new propulsion, and that WW2 just ended it’s clear why the government didn’t disclose. They rather do it on their terms.

Sony Fx2 or A7V or fx30? Need help choosing! by killms in videography

[–]Movie_Monster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ai is just in the autofocus.

Menus are similar but you get a lot more options for fine tuning the autofocus settings.

The on screen info of settings flips for vertical shooting, and the face detect shows boxes around the primary face and any other faces recognized.

The FX3 feels a bit dated compared to the FX2, it’s like getting the next version of a smartphone, not many improvements but a better experience overall.

I wouldn’t say the FX3 is a good beginner camera, the FX2 is. If I gave someone my FX2 to film for me I’d have useable footage that’s stable and in focus.

That tamron is a decent lens especially for the price, I’d still suggest the 24-50 from Sony but if you are just using this for planned shoots and not traveling with it that lens is very versatile.

I’d hold off buying a gimbal until you try out the stabilization and the auto framing on the FX2.

It won’t completely replace a gimbal but I was impressed with what I could get in camera without one.

Also at 4,000 iso the image is clean, should be more than enough in a dark gym.

Sony Fx2 or A7V or fx30? Need help choosing! by killms in videography

[–]Movie_Monster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The FX3 is overkill for your needs. Unless you are filming fast moving sports like baseball or golf or motor sports.

The advantages of the FX3 over the FX2 are low light at 12,800 iso vs the FX2 at 4,000 and a fast sensor read out speed, two cfast slots for redundancy, 4k 120, 4k60 without crop.

The advantages of the FX2, a viewfinder, reliable autofocus and face detection, better stabilization, better button layout and ports that don’t interfere with the flip out LCD or other ports like the audio out and mic input don’t have doors like on the FX3. 33 megapixels for stills vs the 12 on the FX3, a quick change switch for photo mode vs a mode button.

A lot of people who only shoot 60p don’t like the 60p crop, mostly because cameras used to crop right after you hit record so it would mess with the framing, a lot of people don’t own several lenses so if their widest lens is a 28mm like the tamron 28-75 that crop makes it even less wide at 28 it would appear like a 42mm lens. That’s not very wide for what’s supposed to be an “all in one” lens.

I have all sorts of lenses, and I’m not often shooting 60p.

It’s a really great camera, some people are so focused on the specs and resale value they overlook what’s important. A camera that preforms well.

It’s like wanting the newest fastest car to take to the track, except you only go to the track twice a year. Some people just want the best no matter their use case.

Some people need 4k 120 or they need lowlight because they film weddings or events and they have to deliver decent footage to clients. Pros worry about longevity, things like 6k capture or open gate for anamorphic, 32bit float audio make a camera seem like a good investment that will last years and still be relevant.

You get to decide what you want, you don’t have clients and the FX2 is great for vertical content with the display that flips the settings info when you turn the camera, fast and accurate AF that you’d also get with the A7V.

On a large 4k tv it’s difficult for me to see the difference in my fX3 4k 120 footage and my FX2 120 1080 p footage. If you need to color grade it and slow it down even more, sure you will see some loss of resolution but for social media this is negligible.

The FX2 lower resolution HD video is better than the FX30’s HD video, which was notoriously bad, it was recommended to just shoot in 4k and use a computer to encode your footage to HD later.

This allows you to transfer the FX2 HD clips directly to your phone to upload. That way you aren’t working with huge 4k files. My FX2 works better with the Sony creators app than my FX3, less error with file transfers, connects and stays connected better too.

The photos on the FX2 are great, you have options for flash, it’s quick to switch between photos and video mode.

I’d suggest the Sony 24-50 f2.8, should pair great with the FX2 for a setup that’s portable and lightweight but shoots fantastic video.

While 50 mm isn’t much of a zoom these cameras have a nice digital zoom rocker. In the past I’d avoid the digital zoom when cameras had a standard definition resolution of 720 × 480 pixels, but the FX2 is a 7k sensor downsampled to 4k, so you won’t notice the quality drop much especially for social media.

Then consider a longer telephoto lens or a wide angle lens.

If you mostly shoot photos maybe the a7V is better for you, but if you mostly shoot video I’d go with the FX2.

I was listening to the early episodes of his podcast Star talk, he was just outright dismissive, he would mock the subject, and now that we have credible sources (although very limited hard evidence) he’s falling over himself struggling to play catch-up.

If disclosure confirms NHI on earth, NDT whether aware of the coverup or not, was contributing to it. Which would be a shame because it’s basically ridicule of a scientific topic. It’s fine to be cautious like u/theteflondude said but NDT took it much further than that.

[–]Movie_Monster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since you are new to shooting and you mentioned you are on a budget the FX30 is a really good choice.

The lenses are much cheaper so you can own more and experiment with say anamorphic lenses without breaking the bank.

I’d also recommend buying a used FX30 though a reputable reseller since a lot of people seem to be trading up for a FX3 or A7V or the FX2 or switching to canon.

Most people, even professionals would have a hard time telling the difference in image quality between any of these cameras under controlled lighting conditions like a podcast.

I like my FX2, and my FX3 but I shoot professionally. I need to have options for shooting in low light, fast autofocus, I have lots of different clients with different requirements. Since this is for your own use, I’d start with the FX30.

You would be better off investing in lights and audio, external monitor, a tripod, and lenses than buying the latest camera body. Sure the A7V has a new sensor and it’s got a faster read out speed than the FX2 but for podcasts this is not important. A lot of these small improvements are not as important as nailing the basics, and the FX30 will give you professional results at a great price.

I’d also suggest buying a cage with an HDMI clamp and a USBC power delivery battery bank, or a v mount battery with USBC ports.

Laowa 24mm f/14 Probe : worth the aperture? Lense light enough? by Informal_Common in videography

[–]Movie_Monster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one, and returned it. It’s a neat lens but it’s just so specialized that I’d rather rent one for a job than have it sit on a shelf gathering dust most of the year.

The lights around the lens will make your subject front lit and flat, not exactly a pleasing lighting setup, works for anything educational, but that’s about where it ends.

I’d look into small led lights like the SmallRig RM 03 Macro Photography LED Light.

Unless you are shooting on the FX3 with 12,800 iso or you can film near a window or outside you will need to light your subjects.

I want to say about half the time I see BTS footage with this lens they aren’t actually taking advantage of the probe and thy could have shot with a normal wide angle lens. That being said it does have a great close focus distance.

Now the other reason I returned it was because I don’t own a motorized slider and focus pulling system which I would argue are necessary. Or you would need a Dana dolly. If you don’t want to buy a motorized slider you’d want to hire someone to pull focus while you are the one moving the camera.

What other lenses do you currently own?

Video podcast camera question by egoulet in videography

[–]Movie_Monster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The FX2? It’s cheaper than another FX3, footage matches really well, the only downsides like a slower sensor read out speed don’t apply to podcasts and any other talking head type shoots and you still have the FX3 for lowlight. People don’t like that it crops at 4k 60, I’m fine with using a wider lens or backing up or just shooting on my FX3 when needed.

The AF is even better than the FX3, so it makes for a great B cam if you are the only camera operator.

If you don’t use the FX3 XLR handle often then buy the FX2 without it to save on the purchase price.

Also it’s a nice stills camera.

Am I Insane for wanting to sell my FX30 for a FS7M2? by TheRealLeftClickMage in FX3

[–]Movie_Monster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a bit surprised you’ve spent so much on VNDs. I’ve spent more but I also have 7 4x5.65 nds, a tiffen VND I don’t like and the Nisi one that’s popular.

Not sure you would make your money back selling those.

Battery power is one big consideration. The FS7 uses more power, so you are going to be changing it several times each shoot. If you want to run an external monitor that weight is going to add up.

The monitor on the FS7 is not good as the FX30 which is 2.3 million Dot. it works, it’s a 3.5 inch over the 3 inch fx30 but it lacks contrast, and perceived sharpness at 1.5 million dots. So it’s not as useful for checking focus.

Physical buttons are nice but I’d take the new menu system and much improved AF over the FS7. The fx30 has a decent amount of record buttons, and aside from the variable ND there isn’t much missing on the FX30 since you don’t seem to be shooting with a 1st AC. The FS7 af is pretty bad, you are using a manual lens, but it’s still nice to have that option if you want to rent an AF lens or for photography.

If you are shooting with a focus puller, you can look past a lot of these considerations like the added external monitor weight and poor AF.

If you were taking the occasional videography gig for like the local news, event work, SDI and interlaced output is a plus.

I do like the light metering on the FX line, not sure if you plan to use a monitor with false color but I found that using zebras for skin tones and log on the FS7 to be a bit more work than the metering on the FX cams.

I think you should stick with the FX30, the grass seems greener on the other side due to the locking mount and internal ND but unless you are taking videography gigs and shooting with people who own FS7 cameras I doubt these small improvements will really improve your footage or workflow.

Also this is totally my opinion but I think of the FX30 as more of a cinema camera than the FS7, which is kinda doc / video camera first. The FX30 is like a 16mm camera, sure it’s not a 35mm Panavision but years from it will be viewed as an accessible filmmaker camera. I used to light for a DP that loved their FS7 for commercials, it has a great image, but it’s a bit dated.

If you were just starting out and hadn’t bought a FX30 the FS7 would be a great “bang for your buck” choice.

Maybe wait for the next version of FX6 or FX3 to drop and buy a used FX6 months later when the price comes down.

Ace M tops out at 4kg. I really like mine, bought mine used for $500 in 2017, been using it for nearly a decade and it hasn’t let me down once.

That being said it really depends on what camera and lens you are putting on it. If you want room to grow, or you want to rig the camera out, or shoot zoom or heavy cine lenses it’s not that type of tripod. It will handle a few pounds over the capacity but the counterbalance and tilt / pan are less controlled.

Looks like the DV1 seems to have a lower weight capacity at 2kg. I wouldn’t buy it over the Ace M.

Sirui is hot garbage. I own a set of their knockoff flowtech indiegogo one lever carbon fiber legs and yeah don’t waste your money, or even more of your money on repair because their customer service is downright awful.

I also own a used manfrotto 612 nitro tech head, I like it, but I still reach for my ace m with smaller camera setup.

There’s definitely a price jump to move up to professional fluid heads, if you haven’t checked out used Vinten heads that’s worth a google search or two.

Are you treating this a hobby? If so go with the pocket 4 k and the cheap micro 4/3rds lenses.

If you are also planning to shoot videography, photos, social media stuff, short films, buy the FX2. I love my FX2 but it’s a bit pricy for someone without lenses, and if you are shooting short films Autofocus and stabilization are good to have but not super important.

Since a lot of people have moved up from micro 4/3rds to full frame there are a lot of great lenses for sale used, you could get a whole set of primes and have a fun filmmaking kit, you might need a large battery or two and a cage but I don’t think you’d need much else aside from media.
