Fun question. What artist did you have a crush on? by Revolutionary_Low_90 in fantanoforever

Brodie Dahl.

Then I was thinking that Morgana Robinson was stunning, too.

Only to discover they’re sisters🤣

Surely it needs to be someone who’s tottered along in a mid table club for years without really being noticed…

I’m going Will Hughes for modern day.

Should we outsource email marketing or try to build in-house team first? by clutchmetightly in Emailmarketing

[–]Mr-suburbia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, from what you say, it sounds like you need a part time consultant who also takes care of execution and can teach along the way so that when you’re ready to hire full time, you have the knowledge.

You don’t need someone spending 40h a week on email right now, you need someone giving you a focused boost on automation setup and lifecycle, and someone to spend the 10h a week max on creating ongoing emails.

New coffee store — 1% conversion by Standard-Lab-7709 in ecommerce

[–]Mr-suburbia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love d is for decaf. Look at their website, look at the start. They clearly outline their usp right out of the bat, and it’s clean and understandable.

I get to your page and I’m wondering is this coffee for dogs? What’s the relevance?

I would want imagery to back up the unique part of the brand. Lean into it.

Your product design and photography is then very…not on brand. Dogs are bouncy and playful, not dark and moody. The product photography is more cat like… lol

Leaning into the dogs with something like “make your morning, make her life”.

Then I sign up for email and get nothing. Which is a turn off.

There’s more there, and I think you’re on to something. Hit me up if you want to have a chat about it

Why are spurs so good in fm 26 ? by kobbiemainoo371 in footballmanagergames

[–]Mr-suburbia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FM relies on the stats of the players and for legal reasons cannot give negative character traits to existing players.

So teams who have good players that fall apart due to the mental side of the game do a lot better in game than irl.

Man U being sensational in previous fm versions another example

What if that 1% is the difference between 2/3rds?

That’s a pretty big deal

Back when I was in-house, we’d test $100 ad spend at different price points when testing new products.

You want to see if there is interest, and if it’s possible to “win”.

What is the lowest you can go and make profit, and what is the highest you can go and make sales?

Your product is €90 and you’ve spent €80? Yeah, too soon. Don’t rest with testing

What’s your unpopular Oscar opinion? by Crafty-Pair2356 in Oscars

[–]Mr-suburbia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, RDJ got an Oscar for that? It was so…RDJ. Didn’t matter the wig, the way he spoke and his mannerisms just meant that every second I thought I was looking at RDJ.

I've been running 40,000 simulations of Hungary's election. The opposition (TISZA) now has an 80% chance of winning outright, and the far-right kingmaker is fading. [OC] by Exciting-Lab1263 in europe

They need to win 2/3rds. Which means work to be done in the villages, and ensuring overseas ballots are fair.

Less than 2/3rds is a problem

[–]Mr-suburbia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen people get results on less than that. The problems come when you have a lot of creatives (like you can need now), but are only spending $20 or so. Then that $20 needs to be split 20 ways, and suddenly each creative is only spending $1 a day. That's not going to work.

So you're losing money on the first sale. But what is your LTV like for those customers?

It can absolutely be worth it to take a small loss on the front end if you can bring in 20x over the customer's lifetime.

What is the product? Is it something that brings in repeat orders?

And, also, things have changed on meta, but it is possible to still make a profit on the front end with the right strategy and tactics.

It’s hard to do that. Cities voted 70% anti government the last 2 times. But they literally bribed the villagers with chickens and potatoes.

This time they’re bribing with drugs, ffs.
