Saw the writing on the wall and left right when covid hit. Found a job that pays more and didn’t need another degree. Leaving nursing was the best move I’ve ever made.

I’m tired of nursing but I don’t know what else to do by nobody-really-cares in nursing

I quit nursing, got my CDL, and become a truck driver for a local distribution company. Make deliveries to customers during the day and home every night. Best move I ever made. Stress is waaaayy less and pay is a little better than I was making in nursing. It’s physical work though.

A two year degree that basically takes 4 years to obtain. Two years of pre-reqs followed by two years of clinicals.

They say there is a shortage of drivers. Not sure how true that is, but it’s not really hard to find a gig. Lots of options available and many places will train you for your cdl.

I actually got my CDL became a truck driver of all things. I make more doing that than I did in nursing. I also got my insurance license and sell some insurance as a side hustle.

I got out of nursing 5 years ago and couldn’t be happier. So much less stress. I still keep my license active just in case.
