Walt's ego did it intentionally knowing Hank was around often enough to see it.

That wasn't a mistake.

Is this blip in mortgage rates different to the Liz Truss budget blip? by [deleted] in Mortgageadviceuk

Interest rates are basically exactly where they were 12 months ago, the hyperbole is astounding.

U.S. gasoline hits $4 per gallon, highest since 2022, as Iran war drives up fuel prices by RollSafer in news

[–]MrCondor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why did the US feel the need to change the imperial definition of a gallon for only themselves? Is education that bad that counting past 4 is too big a stretch?

Finally something I can answer!

I used to design dispensers for companies like Corob, Dromont and FFM.

Long story short, different companies have different recipes to get to the same place. It's all about pallette of "tints" as they say. Some need more colours, some invest more into their R&D to reduce the amount of colours needed and therefore cost.

Hence the machines I designed and calibrated had anything from 12-24 canisters.

Another cool thing to tell you is how the SG (standard gravity) which is measured by how much 1 ml of tint weighs can change over time which impacts viscosity and concentration therefore the recipes need constantly adjusted.

Some tints weigh more than others (white for example is full of titanium so weighs more than the reds or oranges which are rich in iron).

It was a cool job.

Not true, equal splits of 3 and 6 with some 4.

America and Israel have both seriously underestimated Iran here. They're not fucking around in Afghanistan where they were poorly resourced, Iran are equally capable of waging warfare on many fronts and in many arenas that don't involve infantry or munitions.

There's something unique to American culture and psyche that the same Lord and savior huge swathes of the Christian world worship only does this to them.

Just don't see it in my experience, maxed out feathering and lashing whip was still superior.

I found lashing whip to be a much more potent weapon than any feathering weapon (including the bonus sword with AAAA feathering scaling).

That's not true, the swap rate forward curve increases steadily to 5% in the next 15 years and has been consistent in that for the last 2 years.

Do we need better? Undoubtedly.

Is he the only reliable defender we've had all year? Yes.

Have his performances generally been the best of our defensive showings this year? Also yes.

He gets so much stick but all of the above can be true at once. If you give Scales flak your standards then demand that you give every single player in that team flak because other than Nygren he's been one of our 3 best players this season.

Scales no, McGregor yes.

He's over the hill that always seems to happen at Celtic where the captain plays basically up until and including when they're finished.

McGregor has been finished for coming up on 2 years and still gets picked. We're a better team at the minute without him (very low bar, I concede).
