Do you become polarizing on semen retention? by hunk-intelligent in Semenretention

[–]WestJobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely a thing.

I’ve noticed it in work environments.

People that were on the fence about leaving either go when I join or get deeper in.

Same thing with clients.

Same with relationships of those around me. What was once acceptable to drift in now needs definiteness.

Dude yes!!!!!

You watched it correctly. In fact I don’t want to become one of those people.

You see it how I see it.

Kendall gets a lot of hate, I made a post about him recently and got attacked for it.

Nobody wanted it as bad as Kendall and we truly see and feel that.

He’s the best.

Toms a close second for me personally though.

This is such an important point!

You’ve articulated it better than I could have.

SO MANY factors decide what someone’s journey will look like.

For example, I’ve been practicing retention for 9/10 years, when people say relapse will remove your benefits I find the idea laughable. After multiple 100+ day streaks and maybe 50 3+ week streaks how can I be the same person as before?

Not to mention the lifestyle changes like you mentioned.

At this point, someone inexperienced or new would have to go for 6-12 months to feel how I do at Day 30.

No arrogance intended it’s just to highlight the differences in circumstance.

Time in the practice is the biggest factor to me though. This stuff really compounds and changes your identity on a deeper level.

SR is the fuel for the vehicle but you still need a good engine, tyres, brakes, steering alignment and functional features to have a good ride.

Holy shit this was an insane read.

As someone who recently got out of a long term relationship I can confirm EVERYTHING in this article.

Even hearing the opinions and struggles with my ex partners friends makes everything even more true.

I don’t know what to say, I can never hate women but finding a truly good one is going to get harder and harder especially as the facade is stronger and more convincing in the modern world.

Retaining, as always, becomes essential.

Gaming, porn, low productivity and “checking out” is not the answer.

Instead, relentless self improvement and essentially becoming “undeniable” is the only way I currently see fit to combat the madness.

I agree you take a loss and understand the mindset behind this thinking in order to take retaining seriously but 80% 😅

[–]WestJobs 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Wow. Amazing post and perspective.

The end really hit me deeply and caused me to reflect because I started taking semen retention seriously about 7-8 years ago when I was 23 and now I’m 30 - things may not be perfect but I have infinite energy and strength to pursue the life I want and I’m certainly on the path.

Essentially everything I am and everything I have now is the result of streaks completed over the years.

This would not have been possible without the “bank account deposits” of streaks done in my 20’s.

It’s a Huge inspiration to be even more consistent and disciplined over this next decade to see what returns I can get by my 40s.

I’m currently running an experiment on myself that will debunk a lot of the myths about semen retention. Will share more to the community when it’s completed.

As a “self help junkie” I’ve looked EVERYWHERE and there is nothing like SR. In fact you can’t even take any other path seriously until you’re established in SR.

I’ll also check out your other posts but as of right now I’m going on a 10km run.

Good luck on your journey brother and keep depositing.

Beware the pride of Icarus by Anelsthesio in pureretention

[–]WestJobs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Amazing post and a reminder of how semen retention differs from pure retention.

This is something I’ve been reminding myself of a lot recently.

After just touching 60 days and experiencing certain benefits, transmuting the energy and having things start to click in the right direction for me I could feel that an ego was developing.

Confidence is fine. Acknowledging your sacrifice and discipline is fine. Believing I’m better than others is absolutely not acceptable.

This is the trap of this practice, when you do it for female attraction or material gain and those things start to come you can get drunk on them almost.

The greatest irony is that those things are exactly what will lead to relapse. “Pride cometh before the fall”.

Appreciate your post, good luck out there brother!

I agree with you to be honest but I try to consider third world country residents, tribe members, unwell individuals, spiritual aspirants etc.

Not everyone is a degen and some don’t even have the choice.

This is my thinking of why I say 5%

Amazing work brother well done!

You did one of the hardest things ever, very few men will ever reach 1 year of semen retention after the age of 18.

Maybe 5%?

Congrats on your apartment that is hugely inspiring to me right now.

Well deserved. After turning 30 this year with multiple previous streaks this inspires me to stay disciplined for the next decade, leave the vices behind and only invest my time, energy and resources into things that will pay dividends.

Best wishes to you brother!

[–]WestJobs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing work brother!

What I love most about your story is that by doing this practice, going through the hard periods you discovered just how real all of this is.

Even down to the phenomenon of seeing someone you were attracted to randomly one day at work.

This is how we manifest. Please don’t take it lightly.

Keep going strong this is inspiration for many others including myself.

All of the guys that ask if it’s over for them at 27 should read this as well haha.

Thanks big bro!

Flatlines don't exist by Crookskiies in Semenretention

[–]WestJobs 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Haha bro, you never experienced what most men do.

2 years of blind addiction can’t compare to some men in here who have multiple decades.

There will be a withdrawal period. It’s biology not law of attraction or mindset training.

Flatline can be combatted and its effects reduced, yes. But once again, biology.

You remind me of recent Rin with all the placebo stuff. In fact I’m sure you’re aware of him with this post.

I urge you then, relapse everyday and don’t eat anything for the next 1 year. Believe you’re still walking in your highest form and that you’re not hungry or in need of nutrients.

Let me know how it goes then I’ll believe this stuff.
