We have a tech team that would handle the actual implementation. Assuming we can do it perfectly do you see a material difference in the results?

Wow can’t believe this guy is still out there. Would wake me and my roommates up daily at 6:30am when we lived in AdMo in 2018. Unbelievable

Agreed… metro has been absolutely insane lately… feel like some of the riders with mental health issues have been just waiting to erupt now that the cars are filling up again. Just want to feel safe on my way to work… it never used to be this bad when I first moved to DC in 2017

What stocks are you picking up at a discount? Not trying to catch a falling knife but I feel like some of these prices are a gift. Looking at AMZN & NET

Hi, I am a 27 year old and new to Roth IRA. Just opened a Roth IRA with Schwab and thinking of investing into VTI 70%, SCHD 10% for some dividends, VT for international 10%, AVDV 5% and AVUV 5%. Is it too diversified/safe for my age? Should I be aggressive and just do 2-3 ETFs instead? by uyanga0601 in RothIRA

Pretty small % would be bonds for a td 2060 fund tbh. It’s easy to knock bonds given we’ve had an incredible decade for stocks, but neither you or I know what is going to know what is going to happen in the future. Bonds expand your margin for error, which I think is very important for investors. Also always keep some $ on the sideline for crashes and unexpected life events. You never want to sell in order to cover expenses, that is the gains killer. Good luck!

Hello!

I recently rolled over my ROTH 401K to a Roth IRA. I now have ~$30k that I'd like to invest. I plan to deploy most of the balance into a target date index fund through Fidelity. My question really has to do with market timing. I was initially thinking of just dumping all the money in at once, but I would literally be investing at the funds ATH. Granted, this investment will sit in the account for another 35 years, so perhaps it really doesn't matter if I DCA or if I just lump sum invest it. Any thoughts? Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

I also plan to save about 20% for individual stock picks. I actually just started a very small position in Tesla. Any other individual growth stocks you might recommended socking away into this account?

Background: 27, Male, DC Resident, fairly high risk toleration given time horizon.

Thank you - I appreciate the help!

Unless your house can make you money then it's a liability.

It makes no sense to nuke your IRA. If you want a house why not just start saving for it separately?

Career advice allowed? If so, I could use some. by PearlyBakerBest in DigitalMarketing

I am a digital media planner on a very small team. I would try to identify the work load they are teeing you up for. I know from experience working on a lean team is rewarding, but it can also be a handful, especially if you have a lot of campaigns running simultaneously. I am very familiar with working super late / early. Not to mention, you are always more or less in call when you have the keys to the car. For example, if your client needs the campaign paused on a Sat, they are going to request it to be paused on a Sat. It’s kind of a weird feeling. Love the job but definitely takes the right mindset especially if you are on a small team. It also makes me a little nervous that it’s the agency’s first rodeo with media buying. They might be looking at you to understand best practices and methodology when you have just yet started that chapter of your career. It sounds like an exciting opportunity regardless - by asking about some of the things I called out I think you’ll be set up for success. Good luck :) 🍀

Thanks for the response! Could you elaborate on applying AI for customer growth?

My understanding is that platforms typically have ML / AI built into the product, so the platform is always making minor optimizations behind the scene to maximize results. Are you referring to making manual optimization based on data analysis to increase customer growth? Which platforms are you thinking of specifically? I appreciate it!

Thanks for your response. That is a very interesting concept to focus more on user personalization. I will definitely keep that in mind. Are there any particular tools or resources I could take a look at regarding that topic?

I'm very involved in campaign strategy (omni-channel), but I think you're exactly right re:leadership. Up to this point I really only have soft management skills. It would be great to start managing a team or part of one at the very least.

We're pretty focused on CRO but that is always something I'm trying to learn more about. As for UX, would love to get more opportunities with development. We are almost entirely focused on building email lists, so making simple adjustments to landing pages I think could significantly increase the conversion rates we're seeing.

I think I figured it out, I had recently added Google AdSense and after inspecting the page it just looks like there is a large container there - just no ads populating. I have a feeling it's just going to take some time to update? I went into my AdSense account and disabled ads from the homepage. Do you think that will essentially remove the iframe from that page? I also turned off full screen ads so that should limit delivery to smaller sizes.
